It's funny I read it a couple of days ago in one of the comments sections under a news story about Ivan Cleary being linked to the Tigers …

Somebody wrote that Dean Whare would go wherever Cleary went .

And I just looked up the players off contract at Penrith & he's off this year .

Panthers have got a heap of outside backs already so probably wouldn't bid too hard to try & keep him

Thats why Cleary is head and shoulders above any other candidate. His link with the panthers, still involved with the NRL means he has alot of relationships we can benefit from. I also believe he will be able to sell his story to Tedesco and Woods about the success he would be able to bring. We seem to have mCqueen and capwell if rumours are true. A few outside backs like whare and all of a sudden we look half decent in 2018.
