Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

I'll just leave this here

1st Half 7 complete sets from 12 (58%) …6 errors...39% possession..
2nd half 19 complete sets from 21 (90%)...1 error...60% possession..

Not real sure team selection would have improved that 1st 40 mins...

We were lucky it was only 26 -0

If Morgan had glue remover the other Melbourne winger would have had a double as well

ET at hooker turned out to be such a disastrous decision that the 2nd top team beat us by 9 and only sealed the win in the last couple of minutes. Come on….lighten up

u can dress it up any way u like, but JT is to blame, he would have found any way to stop robbie from playing. i bet if the 3rd SOO game had been on sunday robbie would have played. how much better would it have been having robbie making 50 plus tackles in the middle and ET creating more in attack, but JT seems to be hell bent on getting rid of robbie.

Disagree. He was going to play. You can't play 4 days after getting a mild concussion.

The Roosters game was a serious concussion, he was in hospital. A concussion like that needs 14 days.

Robbie played 80 minutes of origin before the roosters game and wanted to play against the chooks, he was concussed against the dogs and sat out the knights game before origin.

Obviously concussion didn't allow him to play.
But generally speaking I can't believe were having this debate about Robbie a SOO hooker. We have no better alternative and he gas to be picked at first available opportunity.
If ou haves feel stifled by him they can pack their bags.
This is getting beyond a joke. We are playing everyone bar Robbie atm.
It's a luxury our bottom of the table team cannot afford.

He's only been rested in one game . Your exaggerating a bit saying that were playing everyone bar robbie.

Farah becomes the new Fulton. Does a Watmough due to recurring concussions. Contract paid out by insurer. Payment doesnt come under cap. Farah gets paid, avoids super league. Frees up heaps of cap. Everyone happy. Simple.

I'll dress it up like this bp.

Farah was ruled out my the medical staff.

Are you saying JT is paying the medical staff to sabotage Farah?

Agree Russell. In this day and age you simply can't play someone with Robbie's recent concussion history a few days after he's copped a knock.

what iam saying is if it was SOO on sunday farah would have played, so read into it what ever way u want but it is a fact.

Actually it's not a fact at all. Medical staff ruled Farah out. Move on.

If Taylor is not responsible for any of losses then I guess he can't be responsible any of the wins either. Can't have it both ways
Sort of makes him irrelevent.

I have praised him after several wins.

Its just funny that after a poor selections his little foot soliders want to talk about Oneill!!

OK lets play your silly game - Farah is ruled out injured -

Do you play Halatau - who everyone on here wants dropped and offers nothing in attack and little in defence
Do you play Cherrington - who isn't up to it and is supposedly going to Penrith
Do you play Liddle - good prospect but isn't up to NRL standard yet
Do you play Taylor who like Halatau isn't a hooker but offers more in defense and attack.

I play Halatau for 55/60 and either Liddle or Cherrington for 20/25 minute.

Im a fan of playing players in their specialist position, always have been. Simple as that.

JT wants Robbie gone, Ballin in a crock and Halatau will probably retire.

So if Liddle is the future (possible next year) we need to give him a short run.

YOu say Cherrington is not up to it? Well we was last year and early this year according to most people?

And when Halatau goes down after 5 mins, what do you do?

Its a common saying in many sports.

You don't weaken one position to try and strengthen another.

There are people here that would have jumped up and down if Sheens had done this playing players out of position caper. However with Taylor its a raft of excuses.

Moses 9 ,Brooks 7 ,Lawrence 6 with Lawrence defending in the central role

How hard is that ??

Is that any better than Taylor at hooker?

Its worse

Not when you can switch your link men between Moses , Brooks ,Tedesco or Taylor

Makes us a far more dangerous unit because Melbourne have no idea what is coming at them

Especially when we don't have a proven dummy half as we normally would , Moses speed from dummy half would create headaches for Melbourne's middle as well

Too late now , but it may have eased some of the issues from the 1st 25 minutes where we lost the game

Sheens did it just for the hell of it. He was stubborn. Cut the crap
Im no fan of ET at hooker, but we explained to you why JT has gone this way, ahead of your scenario…did you miss it?
