Where does Jason Taylor go with our great hooker policy now?!

Any post of mine you havent studied?

What did I post in June 2013 in relation to Potters 8 game losing streak?

Bit unfair to call you a foot soldier, you more a Sargent for your mob!

Stick tight boys.

Pretty sure i quoted, and was talking to Ink.

I still think that JT only wants a ball distributing defensive hooker which is why Ballin and Dene fit the role. He doesn't see the value in a 900k hooker. I reckon he sees it as a 250-300k position and RF doesn't fit that bill. Important point is the Robbie has a contract and before JT arrived and JT should have probably done his due diligence but I guess he wanted the gig.

I question if it's even a personal vendetta against Robbie like all the conspiracists theorise. JT needs to get some new cattle in other positions and Robbie's portion of the cap stifles him

Moses 9 ,Brooks 7 ,Lawrence 6 with Lawrence defending in the central role

How hard is that ??

I kind of agree but I would have played Rankin there. I feel he us a little stronger in defence and allows Moses to be more of focus in attack.

ETs play at hooker was so predictable it wasn't funny, Melbourne ate us up. There were plenty of times where the markers weren't square where he could have engaged them to try & get an extra set but didn't.
And from where I was sitting his service to wasn't great, Brooks looked awkward taking a few of them.

I'd be happy to blood a genuine 9 considering I don't think we're a chance to make the 8.

What about Lawerance at 9 ?

😱pen_mouth: I'm glad Taylor selects the team…

Yes makes sense to you no doubt

We play against the best dummy half possibly the game has ever seen , but ourselves pick two part timers at best :brick:

Agree

the point is you dont move your best forward, and best signing in years to a position that nullifies everything good he has done for us. We havent even re-signed him for next year. I hope boring him by playing him at 9, doesnt cost us his signature for next year.

Farah becomes the new Fulton. Does a Watmough due to recurring concussions. Contract paid out by insurer. Payment doesnt come under cap. Farah gets paid, avoids super league. Frees up heaps of cap. Everyone happy. Simple.

Only for the sake of knowing would insurers also come good for any backending? If Woods and Farah are chosen again together would that void his insurance? It is okay if it comes from friendly fire?

Exactl right y re game strategy.

To be fair i dont think playing him at hooker would be effecting him re-signing, to be fair we have made him a focal point in first grade compared to running around in reserves at Penrith.

I think that Rankin would have handled hooker a lot better than
Et did, and that would have allowed Et to play where he is more value.

I was saying with the line up JT chose

I would of actually gone with Halatau as a starter and either Cherrington or Liddle

As I said in another thread I would of even taken Masada Iosefa , I was that desperate to have an actual dummy half

Thats the key i think.

Moving players out of position how often does it work? Rarely

I used to be LIVID with Sheens when he moved Farah to halfback, or Lawrence to 5/8, or Danny Galea to prop, Christ he has his senior moments did Sheens despite being a good coach!

And how often did it work?

Just about never is the answer

Even if we got beaten be a few more with Liddle Or Cherrington there. Your improving the team for the future (assuming one of them is out future) and giving them some game time.

Makes sense to me.

we are two games out of the 8 now, lets blood liddle for next year. keep elijah as the link between the halves, and if we make the 8 great. if not, we have our future hooker with half a dozen games under his belt for next year.

Also interesting of note to see, once again, assistant coach Craig Sandercock doing all the talking at half time and JT standing there like a lost little boy.
Sack JT now. Pretender.

Presume you watched the whole Tiger half time scenario.

If you didn't - you are making it up for your own agenda as usual.

Hit a soft spot did I? Is that you JT? Or are you JT's mother?
