Who do you want as our next coach?

Des is a manly boy and wouldn't go south of the Spit bridge.

Remember he spent a season at the Magpies and also at Penrith at the start of his career So who knows he has a slight connection to both clubs

I am sure Mr. Sheens is going back to the mountains.
I say give Folkes a go, but we need a couple of big boppers to match it with the heavyweights.

No Sheens = No Blair

We We kidding here.

Sheens is in the top 3 Club Coaches with Bennett and Bellamy.

No one else comes close.

I reckon Hasler has cruised past Sheensy in the coaching ranks.

I think now is the time to move on, I would even take my offer off the table. I think a lot of damage has been done. So lets look to the future and see who wants the job and work through the candidates. People always seem scared of change when usually it the best thing that can happen. For me Brown, but their a lot of good coaches out their

Steve Folkes. He has a solid coaching record.

Gentle to stay on as assistant coach, and then take over the head coach role when Folkes leaves.

1 grand final in 11years with 1 club that was proven to be over the cap for how long they were before getting caught who knows. And the club wasnt exactly at rock bttom when he took over either.

I don't want him as coach at all. I don't get how he gets rated so highly on here.

He has made the Grand Final twice in 11 years as coach and has got his team into the finals 7 times in 11 years.

We have a very good squad ourselves and I believe he would get us into the finals more often than what Sheens has done here.

Realistically we have a squad that should be in the top 4 for the next couple of years, now is not the time to go for a rookie coach. You only get a short window to win a comp, maybe 4 - 5 years, we are in that window now.

If we can get the money my top choice would be Gus Gould. He knows how to get a team to the big matches and too win them. He would work well with our squad.

My next choice would be Nathan Brown, he spotted a lot of talent at the Dragons and is a better coach now than when he was last in the NRL.

Only others I would consider is Rick Stone (getting good results with a team with lesser talent than ours) and Steve Folkes (just not sold on him).
