I just think it would be a great look that someone wants to stay, the club is well run, well coached, and many players would be happy to see him stay. I suspect more people would be happy to see him stay than to see him go.
I dont think it will happen as the dogs would want to walk away without a black eye…....but stranger things have happened in this game. I think it is a bit of media hype just the same.
Except he doesnt want to stay. He has made that quite clear this year. If he changes his tune it will be because he will be worried about his career and earning potential on the open market. If he comes crawling back to us I hope Pascoe cuts our offer to him substantially. He does not deserve to crap all over the club then return to a heroes welcone with a fat contract. He has shown his true colours.
