Also reported on SEN, Benji and Fulton have both been told to go away and have a think about things and whether they can work together then come back in 48 hours, early suggestion is if they can't it will be Fulton to go ....

So another couple of lunches for Pascoe.

This guy is great. He turned one meeting into 15 sit down lunches and 45 coffee and danish’s. That’s a hussling CEO.

How nice to be able to throw money at people with no accountability - somebody else is going to get a pay out on the back of poor decision making by Pascoe and yet the club are content to keep letting him make decisions in its behalf.

The board backed him.

How about putting it this simply .Mr CEO you run an organisation that has deteriorated year after year and now brings the fans nothing but misery and despair . That's called failing .Do the right thing !

My prediction based on the usual 'Hagi & Pascoe protection mode' decision-making is for all 3 (Sheens, Benji & Fulton) to stay in their current roles, all told to get along & stop the leaks and Sheens/Benji told that another assistant coach (experienced) needs to be appointed (and they can be part of the process) as a further support for Benji (to appease player managers). Likely candidates Justin Holbrook, John Morris (although unlikely he would leave Souths), Josh Hannay (although unlikely he would leave Sharks), Ben Hornby.
This is so accurate it's not even funny.

Lee on NRL 360 tonight answered an array of questions and clarified nothing
He said board did not have to involve coaches in Fulton appointment but no body can be recruited that the head coach is not happy with .
Clear !
Clear as mud after listening to him fumble his way around even on why Brooks was given max 3 days to make decision
Whatever blah blah blah
I've got no confidence in the executive

He was quite scared to openly dispute anything or tell any of the presenters they had the wrong info. As if they were somewhat correct. That's a worry.

Just loves being in the limelight. What an egomaniac.

Summary based on language:

- Fulton/Benji storm in teacup basically. Professional and cordial. Will work. For the moment they both will be around for a while.
- Benji / share of player mgr company is borderline defamation. Not true. Lee very adamant on that.
- Holbrook was all about exploring an opportunity but Lee kept reverting to assistant coach in his explanation = inference of hunting an assistant for Benji.
- Pascoe very coy response wouldn’t guarantee his role but expects him next season
- Sheens he is contracted for next year very unconvincing.
- decision on player’s recruitment final say is with head coach after various hoops of player/talent decisions / scouting made
- Luke Brooks offer viewed fair market, positive talks with his mgr & Luke left on own accord. We actually made him 2 offers both rejected. Luke mgmt asked for offer demand date, we delivered to the mgmt date and then stayed open for a while before board put a deadline of 3 days.

Buzz also said he has first hand from 3 player managers Ayoyb, Tartek, Oloughlin they are not comfortable to send players to us unless Fulton is 100% staying. If Fulton stays player managers are more comfortable to send to us.

Braith was impressive and stood up for Benji & what was needed. Agreed with nearly everything Braith said.

Braith also had a dig at Fainu wraps it’s clear he doesn’t view him as high as others do.
