Is not nice to wish injury on anyone, but remember him missing months at the roosters due to concussion effects? How many more can he suffer before his career is gone?

Then again with someone of his integrity, it may have just been an excuse to get a rest because he was not happy with his role at the club.

Has there been any indication that Packer and Maguire have “made up”? If not, I wouldn’t have any expectations of seeing him in first grade this season...

I've definitely read on here a few times that they've made up and that he's primed for this year. Hopefully that's true.

I actually cringe sometimes at how hard players get hit and get straight back up and play the ball

I’m not sure what Packer did last year. I must have missed it?

He was injured most of last year and having little spats with Madge.

2018 he was good. Injury is now good, Madge and Packer now good and attitude is good.

You know as well as I do what happened last year - it is this year that we are concerned with. I think he'll be better than the 2018 season myself.

Yes - he has a baby face & good guy but he's intimidating & can impose himself on the field. Mikaele will have a breakout year this year, he's been working non-stop on himself, good kid. Looking forward to EJ kicking on, he's about 196 cm 110kgs and only 19, same goes with Stef Utoikamanu. Seyfarth, another aggressive guy that does a job, he should fill out at around 105+ kg by the time he debuts later in the year, listed at 194cm & still growing. We have some of the best young forwards and some promising junior talent coming through the ranks, thanks to Madge
