I'm in no way saying that Papa will backflip either. It'll only happen if the club allows it.

Blood in, blood outAt
The end of the day
He was the dumbarse who signed with this clown fiesta
Once ya in ya in
The story of "clowns only" NRL administration!🥵Of course. The WT hold all the cards.
All I am saying is that the club has caved many times before, why wouldn't Papa and his management try their luck as well?
Hopefully he has improved because he has finally found the knack of playing NRL.Interestingly, since moving to Bears/ Chooks, Gildart’s defence has been outstanding. Missed only 1 tackle in 3 games. Also scored 5 tries.
Showed plenty of pace, coming from a long way to run down Cody Walker in the last few minutes.
It’s almost a given that players improve by going to another team, but what happens when they return?
Eels ripped him off for only $150k.There was talk about how canny Eels were to pick him up for $150k.
Papali should ask why didn't Parra up the offer before he signed. Reason being that Parra wanted to rip him off for more cap space $s.Watching Papalii interview i got two impressions
-is he coming YES he's signed binding contract
- does he wish he hadn't signed it YES as Parra upped their original offer
We know where the lack of backbone has led WT in the past - to the Wooden Spoon! He obviously is not keen on coming, he's probably been told by his manager to continue to be flippant and let the media run the offense for them.
Whether the club will show some bloody backbone for a change or not remains to be seen.
I finally just watched his interview and it sent shivers up my spine. Irrespective of Parra finals push the guy asked him to respond to WT fans who are waiting on tenterhooks.Starting to look like Munster will go to dolphins in 2024 if so AD may well end up at Storm after next season. Looks like 2023 is going to be a one-off, messed up, stepping stone type season with a lot of changes to follow it also.
Sheens will be looking for a replacement for Papalii as well coz I don’t think we’ve seen the end of that saga. Paps will do anything to back out if he can.
Yes I just watched and it's like he knows his not coming but has been asked to keep it quite.I

All we got was crickets.
And toward the end when he said he would sit down and discuss with his manager, I heard that as, “ are there any escape clauses in the deal”.
Not what you want from a new recruit being seen as a turning point for us. Unlike API who is all systems go !
IMHO it seems like it’s gonna get ugly.
Hope Tim and O have a plan B.
Clickbait that’s why the media keeps bringing up the subject about WT’s contract, the media know we have a large fan base it’s all about clickbait. Why do the media keep beating on about this ?
1. He signed a contract with the Tigers, No get out clause due to coach etc. even if he doesn't want to be here he will have to honour or sit out 3 years or go back to NZ on compassion
2. Sheens is in charge, he has said Isiah will be at the tigers next year, Sheens is stubborn and an old head cant see him just letting Isiah leave.
3. He is playing in the semi's for the Eels, there is no reason for him talk about next year at all TBH even if he doesn't give us an answer that we like.
If he turns up for pre season he turns up, if he doesn't then good luck to him trying to justify why he wants out of his contract with WT, club has to show some back bone on this one.
I would not renew my two full season memberships if they release him as it would show the club does not care as much as we all do.Good to hear. My thinking is there's a lot of WT fans watching this to ensure our club stares down any attempt by Parra or Paplli'i to backflip. A backdown by our Club would be viewed very poorly.
Agree 100%.I would not renew my two full season memberships if they release him as it would show the club does not care as much as we all do.
I could not say I won’t follow them as it is indoctrinated into me from a young age. I would watch them on TV rather than go to each game.
May not mean much to the club , however this year they showed they were about money not results and we got the spoon when we could have fought to not have it with our full squad available rather than a fire sale to get some more coin that we cannot spend anyway.
