LIVE GAME Round 6 vs. Eels

Live Game Discussion
I’d like to se Bula blooded in the other wing like Tupou has. Kepaoa an Naden the centres.
Yeah good call. Unfortunately Naden will be out for a long period now as well. Centre is going to be a real concern. When is Tommy due back? I don’t the Kepoa is a long term solution there

Yeah forgot that when I posted. Injury aside Naden. Otherwise Tupou to centre for Naden, Bula on the wing

I would leave Tupou on the wing. We are moving alot of players reactive thinking which helps no one.

Let him own his spot and grow.
Talau would be close to being back and Nofo would be close

Jordan Hill had his 2nd ACL in 3yrs NSW Cup as well poor kid.

0-6. Club is really hitting its strides There are no acceptable losses. We need to win or what's the point.

Saw a crazy stat on Twitter just now. Tigers have gone from 2nd last in 2022 to 2nd in 2023 for % of play the balls in opposition 20m line. Literally shows that progress is being made, with forwards laying the platform. We're just missing the gamebreaking halves and fullback that other teams have which would help to execute the field position into points.

Agree with most comments here , a lot of positives. As Gus Gould said we are building from the ground up. Cant expect everyone to gel immediately. We got a small glipse of what the Tigers are going to deliver in the future . It wont be quick but WE ARE BUILDING!
Yeah...building one of those ghost towers in china that no one lives in. More like the one they built next to that bloke that wouldnt move out so they built around him. Maybe building that new house at condell park that fell down or maybe theyre using the Opal towers plan. Im sorry but i dont get tgat feeling...api was fidgety in the presser and i think they cut it short.

Was thinking the other day about the Dolphins comparison…in some ways it’s easier for the Dolphins to perform as they don’t have any previous poor performance to remove from their mindset.

Was out at the game today. If Brooks plays like that every week there will be no complaints from me. We also are starting to look more like a Sheens team, not a Madgeball team that’s scared to make mistakes.

The eels won because of Moses and his flair/kicking game. We’ve had no flair in attack, it I feel today was the start of it returning.

Every team has a Moses man. Who’s Wests flair?

I isn’t say anything about any other team. I know we don’t have any flair, but I think it was coached out of them for the last 3 years. It’s going to take time to change plus a new halfback and fullback. If brooks plays like that he can stay at five-eighth in my opinion

So Madge’s fault. Got ya.

It’s not the correct way to interpret that statistic. It doesn’t necessarily reflect better forward play. To me that statistic means we are terrible at scoring tries when we get in the attacking 20m zone (which is obvious from watching the games). If we scored more often we’d have less tackles in the opposition 20m line.
