You recommend a Platelet replacement?
I have serious knee issues in my right knee. Worth doing?

Can only say in my case its worked wonders. Bit frightening drawing x amount of blood out and then the centrifuge to get the red platelets into a paste in inject into the knee joint, then watching the needle almost disappear into your knee. But, once its done my knees have been so much better now for almost 3 years. This last winter I got a little bit of arthritic pain in one knee but not enough to warrant revisiting the orthopedic surgeon to get it done again. At some stage, hopefully long into the future, will require knee replacement/s but no sign of it being needed anytime soon. So, after that long response, apologies, yep, certainly check it out.

I disagree. I thought the games he played he was solid. A few big hits and a send off, bit unlucky considering some of the other "high" tackles this year

Agree with you.

Was awesome early in the season and struggled on with an obvious injury.

That send off was just typical. I still don’t think he contacted his head. If he did, ol mate would still be unconscious.

Silly fella thought he could get away with the same things he got away with at Melbourne.

Was still difficult to handle one on one this year but his lateral movement was poor, probably the bung knees.

With more depth in our outside backs hopefully the club bring him back when he’s fully fit.

Look forward to our sets getting started with strong carries by Olam, Turuva and Skelton. Was our biggest weakness in 24’

That clip x100 for every defensive decision Olam has made in his career is what had me most concerned about his signing bung knees or not.
It’s more the mindset to run 20metres in field and approach a halfback who has 4 options available to him and launch at him blindly like a missle without guidance control.

Roosters had a 3 on one if you review that clip again. He did the only thing possible to thwart a try even though it failed, I’d be wrapping that effort as his coach.

IMHO, our biggest and (sadly) chronic issues are the rack control, defense, strong/dominant tackles and meters run. Too many of the forwards are of the same mold: Woods, Eisenhuth, Twal and Seyfarth. They play like they were given the strongest anti-aggression drugs.

Defense is attitude. BA talked about Parramatta playing their best when they wanted the collision.

It’s been a long time since a WT side truly wanted the collision. We normally jag wins when our opponent doesn’t show up for it either.

It comes with signing guys who come for the dough primarily.

Meanwhile Nat Butcher is open, the sweep is open and the winger may of been marked by Coates had he not been forced to follow Olam in.

Sorry, wrong term, ‘covered by the sliding defence’. He was on a hiding to nothing which I’ll admit but my first instinct would be to keep my feet call the sliders over to put inside pressure on Walker whilst holding on Butcher and sliding out to the fullback leaving Oates to cover from inside out.

As a coach, I’m educating players in this scenario to rush the playmaker and hope to force an error/ bad pass.

True, good conversation. There is a chance it could happen (force an error) but he is a bit late with the contact. I’ve seen him in other tackles get the half in time and shut down the play. I’d like him to have both options available in his kit bag but he just seems inclined to launch low and hard like a missile going for the hit and not the strategy.

As a general rule I like centres and wingers to be passive until you get into a red zone situation like this one. Then it’s all out jam if you find yourself hopelessly outnumbered.

The in between play that Noffa was famous for is a gold ticket to meet the reserve grade coach.
