In a perfect world, yeah sure..

But that's what we are paying Jarome for. He is here to play halfback. How's that going to go down with him?

Why pay 3 X the amount for someone who's 36 and more injury prone, when we already have a resource and desperately require depth?

If we get injuries in the front or backrow we are stuffed... We are gonna be screwed when May plays origin, let alone if we had 2 or 3 injuries... We will be back to the spoon again.

If we get an Injury in the halves we have a few to pick from.

Id be really disappointed if we went after either of those players given the depth of halves we have and Sullivan technically on the books for 26.
 
What DCE and Reynolds offer you is an elite kicking game. Great sides have great kicking games. Ours at present is below par, but getting better slowly but light years away from being elite.

Of course at their age injury is a concern and we are already top heavy in the halves department. I think I would probably direct the money at a quality forward and maybe a class centre and hope our kicking game improves

And how about our depth issues? What do we do then?
 
I may be looking too much into this but the lack of Lachlan bar 2 seconds anywhere in Terrell May latest Vlog is concerning. Maybe he is just going teenager hiding in corner who knows.

In the last two vlogs he was in them earlier. Also no TDS is a concern, I have the bad feeling he’s going with his buddy. I read somewhere recently from Galvin indicating that he has his supporters and obviously non supporters in the camp. If u watch the game on the weekend Galvin was around TDS a lot, he also looks off, like he wants out as well. Pond scum is a cancer, and his players act like an infection going through the camp. If TDS goes as well it’s time to cut all ties with pond scum players.

And it’s not under 10s where you switch clubs because your mate is going there

I'd say the young blokes probably hang together and are a bit camera shy, which is fair enough. Not much of Tallyn or Luke L either

I know he is not managed by pond scum!
But like pond scum I can read body language, something is up with TDS. It’s written all over his face. I wish it wasn’t under 10’s but Galvins dossier says otherwise!
 
That's pretty hard to take, but if he can't see that there are good things happening here and for whatever reason he doesn't want to stick around then that is pretty sad and I will be sorry to see him go.

Having said that, I've only heard positive things come out of his mouth, what exactly is the body language, and what is it that is written all over his face that you find that is up with him?

Genuinely interested to hear, or is it more just a gut feeling?

Stuff Galvin's dossier, I gave up reading children's books a long time ago.

I find this a really weird take. To me he has looked motivated and happy to be there, as have the entire team for the most part. Even Galvin who clearly loves playing footy.

Brown went to manly bcoz his mate Les went there. 🤷‍♂️
I reckon Gal is going to parra bcoz it’s his childhood club. And a lot said the same thing about that.
Isn’t there some saying about death and taxes being the only certainty. I would be prepping for all situations.

Obviously we only see very small snippets of the playing group such as what we see in Terrell’s vlog etc, but from what we see it does look like the core playing group are very loud and have very different personalities to others within our playing group.
Having different personalities is normal in any workplace, but is it a concern that some players such as Galvin and TDS might not feel like they really fit in ?

Only based on observation of TDM's vlogs ... May, Turuva, Luai, Pole, Skelton, To'a & Royce seem pretty tight. Bird, Naden, Sam & Sione Fainu get amongst them. Api & Bula seem fairly reserved but amongst them. Twal, Doeuihi & Seyfarth seem pretty close. The others are the younger ones or the T&Ts so they probably hang together a bit.

He's not, he is managed by Tartak who has a good relationship with the Tigers. He has Bird, Feledy, Makasini, Taupau-Moors, all 3 Fainus and Laulilii brothers all at the club. Most of those guys have signed or re-signed recently.

TDS is very close with Galvin but I dont think that will impact him leaving. The Api re-signing will play a bigger role. Richo has said that Tallyn loves the club and doesn't want to leave. The only issue is playing time.

Also, when Terrell May scored against the Eels he did the 'salute' celebration which I thought was a gesture towards Benji. Tallyn did the same celebration after he scored at Leichhardt, so he seems to get along with the group very well.

Tallyn’s situation will not be influenced by Galvin. it’ll be influenced by Api and WT’s subsequent plan for him.
