I dont think our problem is a "Halves Problem," we have a muscle/ depth problem. When you look at the two types of forwad packs, theres the "Enforcer/Muscle" type pack and the "Modern/Mobile" Pack.

We are in the middle.

Our pack is neither Grunty or Mobile. I think Benji and Richo are building towards a Strong, Muscle based pack that win the ruck and bend the line. Right now Only Pole and May can consistently damage the line.

Dont get me wrong, Sione Fainu has really grown this year and is showing promise, but i find that Twal, Hunt, etc arent adding offensive value. Twal is a great defender but lacks craft as a 13. Hunt is not carrying his weight and usually relies on May to do all the work.

Seyfarth and Bird are also another issue. Both Defensive liabilities and emotional.

When all we hear from the media is negativity about our club , it would be nice to hear some positivity from our own club media at times.
Richo’s regular feel good updates from last season have virtually disappeared, does that mean our clubs off field dramas are worse than what meets the eye ?

Weve dropped the off-field ball this season.

Benefits to members has pretty much collapsed except if you want you want to be marketed at.

Admin appear to be distracted by something.

Membership and maintaining the following obviously isnt high on the list of priorities.

Which sadly reinforces the idea that we have a club set up for officeholders and high status employees.

Im not going on a nasty anti Richo etc rant, just putting it out there.

Where have i seen that before?

Keep these "forum of origin" posts coming @Vicious.

As a fan, I’m really not interested in a money transfer if Galvin leaves. Given the money that passes through the club’s books what is $150-200K get us as it doesn’t affect the cap?

If we aren’t going to hold strong and keep Galvin to his contract to stop this happening again in the future, then we have to leverage a trade for a key player. This should be non negotiable with any team that wants Galvin early. We have to get something out of it or we are still in the doldrums of being pushovers.

actually,his best has been at WTs..nobody will forget last Sunday...better than anything hes ever done
He deserves much more recognition, but :mate driven" media have just rolled over

Yep im coming around to it. His kicking game is decent too which is something we are lacking. Nothing to get overly excited about but Latu cannot be relied upon

Yeah he has clarified that now, my bad. BUT he has said it is 3 other players...so maybe Saukuru and Feledy and someone. Thing is if not Tumeth and Matamua, then maybe players for next year who would be coming into the 30 like Sullivan or development blokes or maybe they are actually decent players and he's taking the piss.
