LIVE GAME Round 13 v Cowboys

Live Game Discussion
I wasn’t as impressed as most were with his first game. Canberra flogged the pants off us.
You are right though, he saw success after that and it sealed peoples opinions on him.
I think most good judges are basing their opinions on what Galvin will be, not what he is now.

I'd like to congratulate @Tucker for the number of excellent quality posts he has done so far in this thread.
No abuse, just common sense and well worded.
I wish there were many more on here that could express themselves as well as he does.
Well I have to agree, what irritates people so much is that he isn't biased when it comes to support for the team, he doesn't look for excuses when it comes to dealing with their failings, in other words he tells it like it is and most people have trouble dealing with the truth when it is presented in such a harsh and unbiased manner.

What irritates people even more is that he appears to take pleasure in doing it. 🤣

We should definitely asking for some very public please explains, also i think we should highlight Sutton/Klein as serial controversial calls against us. It seems like very much a case of deliberate not giving us the rub of the green or even just the correct calls.
Its hard enough to win a game let alone away from home and with the ref and the bunker with obvious bias against us. Both bins were debatable the Nanai try was a clear no try imo, and i cant recall the one where Mason was impeded.

Sutton basically handed the game to the Cows
A sin bin after 10 mins ? Savage !
Nanai try was a NO TRY as Turuva was taken out by a Cowboy not competing for the ball .Sent up no try and bunker overrules
Needs a bloody please explain
Referees wouldn't dare hit the Cowboys in Townsville that hard

Very good points, we lack the physicality of other sides, mainly in the back row. Sukkar drove someone back last night and it was a shock because we never manage that.

We’re short on power.
1 to 17 especially in the backs; why isn’t it being mentioned alongside this. Our bunny set or backs set is the WORST in the league by a fair margin and has been since I can remember.

Hunt started that crap. The amount of time he took to get off the player in the first 6 again showed a terrible disrespect for the referee. I have no doubt the referee felt, we will see who wins this one. Luai was borderline however someone was going to pay for Hunt's stupidity. It is obvious to me Hunt should not be in the starting 13. Maybe one of the forwards that we have not replaced should have started.
Agree. I hope Benji has the balls despite the injury toll to drop Hunt to Reggie’s. Either he shapes up or retires early.

See many comments about Missing Twal and Pole and Hunt starting
WE HAVE NO BLOODY DEPTH
FOR THE LIFE OF ME I can't pick a pack for next week
Sukkar is developing but he's not a 1st grader at the moment
Take out Pole and Twal who do you pick
Benji played Naden as a back rower ridiculous!
RICHO SAY SOMETHING
Wayne Bennett already talking to Taylan May why aren't we ?

Not after Todd Payten’s persistent rants at the referees this year. Got a slap on the wrist for it and what’s followed is weeks of favourable calls..

Couldn't agree more. It was stupid to so blatantly and repeatedly slow the ruck. I think all teams obviously use the tactic of doing it once early in the set to control the set (Storms mantra for years was control the first tackle you control the set). Then slow as required, as in when you have been beaten and lost shape. It is still cynical and I'd like to see more binnings as these negative tactics are now competition wide but the repeated actions of Luai last night was asking for trouble.
Luai intentionally did it the first time to give Bula time to get out of the ruck. Not sure what Hunt’s excuse was and I thought the ref was trigger happy on the 3rd one.

Oh @BZN!

Its just so frustrating watching this team, in fact theres no words in the english language to describe our plight of having to follow them.

Seconds away from the greatest comeback in league history and fate intervenes again.

Toa, he was a madge recruit. We all thought he was anaemic and would end up being a halfs tackle partner!

Can't agree mate.

Off the ball, his decision-making, execution and particularly lack of ruck control, hurts us far more often than people realise.

If a 'lost' ruck is a quick play the ball/markers out of position, then I would say that of all the 'lost' rucks we have each game, Seyfarth would be involved in a third to a half of them.
Just cannot get to his feet & in position at marker without his hands all over the tackled player, or stumbling and having to steady himself by leaning on them.
