As you know I am happy with that.Return majority to the independent directors and we are good to go.
Then why are you arguing with people pushing fir that?As you know I am happy with that.
It must have happened more than once as I also heard about it happening a couple if years back.Magpie chant was this year.
Why would that be fair to say, the person involved is still in the same position that they were before. It must have happened more than once as I also heard about it happening a couple if years back.
Never the less I think it’s fair to say those involved with that agenda has since had their feathers plucked.
Can someone convince V'landys that is the way forward, or as I have said elsewhere, is he just giving these clowns enough rope to hang themselves.Return majority to the independent directors and we are good to go.
I am not arguing about that. Then why are you arguing with people pushing fir that?
I am not arguing about that.
I am arguing about a continued push to remove HBG without first seeing how the next 3-12 months unfold.
I am optimistic there will not be any more boardroom issues, I could be wrong and only time will tell.
As I’ve stated numerous times I have absolutely no issues with yourself or anyone from the WTF or Claws Out podcasts.
I love the podcasts and have formed an opinion that you are all very good people who obviously love and only want what is best for Wests Tigers.
Being involved in making the indepreview a reality you would obviously be unhappy with the recent events more than most and again that is totally understandable. If I was in your position I would feel exactly the same way.
Unlike some people I do not believe you are doing what you do because you hate the Msgpies and want remove their history, I believe you are genuine and based on some of your comments on your podcasts and on here,I believe you do see some good that comes from Wests Leagues / Magpies.
There is a certain element of people who are jumping on your bandwagon for the wrong reasons such as their hate for the Magpies, never wanted any involvement from the Magpies and will not be happy until the Magpies history is removed and forgotten.
Then we have the fair and reasonable element that are very unhappy with the recent events relating to the independent board being removed and would prefer HBG be removed, but can at least acknowledge they have poured a lot of money into the club and are not going to kick and scream providing we do not hear of any boardroom issues moving forward.
Recent statements are all about supporting Wests Tigers.
The narrative that it’s all about the Magpies is an agenda being pushed by trouble makers who just want to cause division.
Wanting our NSW Cup feeder team to remain unchanged as Wests Magpies has no bearing on our NRL team and does not mean Wests Tigers are not being fully supported at NRL level.
The reality is by 2030 at the latest, if not earlier our NSW Cup feeder team will be known as Wests Tigers.
So if certain people cannot handle the name of our NSW Cup feeder team remaining unchanged for another couple of years, they are not true supporters and clearly have an agenda.
We didn’t see Roosters and Sharks fans kicking and screaming when their NSW Cup feeder team was or is Newtown Jets.
Then we have the fair and reasonable element that are very unhappy with the recent events relating to the independent board being removed and would prefer HBG be removed, but can at least acknowledge they have poured a lot of money into the club and are not going to kick and scream providing we do not hear of any boardroom issues moving forward.
Wayde and Andreacchio forewarned all when they were ousted by fellow HBG goons and to date they have been pretty spot on.Lee H is many things, but i don't think hes a liar - hes stated directly as such. The other piece of evidence is a lot of the directors who seem to refuse wearing Wests Tigers kit.
Then you have the whole recent powerplay which seems to be for no reason. So in that vaccum of information, people will come to their conclusions. Especially when HBG have acted with dishonesty and backstabbing quite a few times. Even if they said something, I doubt you could trust it.
There in lies the problem. I think if HBG started doing the right thing with the independant board and re-implementing the report, the fans will start to regain some trust that they have the members and club as the priority, not an agenda.
so...let's assume the sky is blue...and we can all see that and as a result we believe that. Is that what you would call "group-think"?Anyone paying attention would know that I've not tried to prove anything to be true & in fact have questioned the entire narrative.
You, however, are a beaming example of the loudest group-think holds sway.
Nothing has been proven. Go ahead- tell me HBG have a 'proven record of failure' or some-such as your evidence & continue believing yourself.
And you are way off. Never supported the Magpies in my life.
if they change to wests magpies in 2030, i will no longer support the club simpleThe future of the Wests Tigers brand after 2030 is uncertain
and a subject of intense speculation and conflict. While the current majority owners (Holman Barnes Group/Wests Magpies faction) have stated they are committed to the Wests Tigers name, there is a strong push from some elements to eventually revert the NRL team to the Western Suburbs Magpies.
Current Status
- "Heritage Deed" Protection: A legal "heritage deed" currently prohibits the club from changing its name or mascot until at least 2030.
- Controlling Entity: The Holman Barnes Group (HBG), the financial backers of the Western Suburbs Magpies, owns a 90% majority stake in the Wests Tigers and recently asserted full control through a boardroom purge.
- Official Statements: HBG has issued public statements denying claims that the Balmain brand is under threat and insisting on "stability, unity and success" for the Wests Tigers.
- NRL's Position: The Australian Rugby League Commission (ARLC), which owns the Wests Tigers trademark/brand, is reportedly reluctant to support any removal of the Tigers brand, as they want to ensure the inner-west area remains an NRL heartland.
100 percent agree.if they change to wests magpies in 2030, i will no longer support the club simple
if they are still wests tigers then they are tigers1oo percent agree.
I still am undecided if I can support the club if HBG are still in control season 26.
Richo and independents wanted to make moves to put wests tigers in all grades. So that i am wrong to presume HBG just wanted to get rid of Richardo??
If that ever happens 100 percent agree re death ride but the sad fact is I wouldn't follow rugby league anymore at any level.if they are still wests tigers then they are tigers
once / if they go to magpies after 25 / 30 years it is like a new club
forget it.
I will have a new most hated team to deathride
Same, @mikeyIf that ever happens 100 percent agree re death ride but the sad fact is I wouldn't follow rugby league anymore at any level.
It’s plausible. He was the only loser out of the whole fiasco. So that i am wrong to presume HBG just wanted to get rid of Richardo??
