LIVE game discussion. Tigers Team Vs Penrith - Trial#2

Fox sports must have turned over to the Olympics before full time.

“The Wests Tigers beat the Penrith Panthers 20-12 in their Pre-season Challenge clash at Leichhardt Oval”

Our depth beat their depth
The cup team will go very well this year , if Madden and Andrews, Attard and Heyward spend the year together .
Most cup teams won’t be able to go with them if they play like that .
And Luke Lualilii will be the Hammer signing that will come out of nowhere for the bears … (not out of nowhere for tigers fans) he is definitely first grade standard and then some .
We simply don’t have a spot for him . Makasini is generational . Luke is definitely rep level potential though . hopefully he can do some development in Perth for a couple of years and we can bring him back .

Just a trial I know but their depth doesn’t look as mind blowing as it has previously.
Our depth has defeated two very Depthy teams in the Roosters and Penrith so I am looking forward to a final 4 appearance at a minimum for the KOE - especially with quite possibly the best 1/2 5/8 combo in that comp in Madden & Andrews.

We'll know tomorrow if heath mason just scored in the last sevond to win the comp lol

In all seriousness best thing about this preseason is thinking about 2027 2028. Andrews, the Fainus, Heywood, Makasini, the Mays....if we keep and promote the right ones there is a good mix of size, skill and finesse in that group

Good to see Heywood get a mention...

Hope as well, even though he knocked on, he looks to be quite crafty.

Our 9 options are really good.

Charlie Murray turned up both weeks too, he's got something to him too. Hopefully he can be our Ray Stone type 9/13 hybrid enforcer we need, off the bench or otherwise.

There’s always a sobering aspect when you see a performance like that knowing our history at retaining these kinds of players.
In the past we haven’t had so many talented senior players around though, hopefully this time it’s different. The Luai & Bula deals loom large.
