Saw Sheens at Henson Park watching the ressies last Saturday. Plenty of people were talking to him, no doubt asking similar things and he was obviously happy to talk to them.

I do get it mate. My main point is that the lip service is over, the coach has publicly taken control of the team from him.

But has it, up until now? Certainly not officially/publicly. I just think that he has been given enough opportunities, with enough halves partners, in enough different teams. I just don't think he can do it. He'll be a really capable 2nd fiddle to another half, and probably at another club.

Okay, I should have written that officially, "another player has finally been given the reins". We've been told for too long it's Brook's team when he clearly isn't up to it. In his two games Hastings looks more likely to be up to running the team so this is a public backing of him.
