Addo Carr signs with Storm...

What annoys me about this is Melbourne could have signed him last year but waits until he gets a NRL start with us before tabling a 3 year deal. We're becoming s preview showcase for the big teams. You'd have to think they're losing one of their Fijians. Anyway Melbourne rarely get it wrong. If they were sniffing around one of my players I'd be trying to keep them.

I dont want him to leave but i cant control what happens a the club and the decision it makes

Pace is something we lack in our squad and this leaves a bitter taste if he was to leave
Wont blame JAC

They would have guaranteed him an NRL spot where as we buy players and they get stuck in our state cup side die to our salary cap being in a shambles. Can't blame JAC. It's our incompetent clubs fault. As stated by tiger torch it wouldn't have cost us much to keep him

Meh to be honest a NSW cup winger who has pace is great but our problems are experience and defence and he is weak in both. We don't struggle to score points we struggle to stop them

I suppose you can't blame Melbourne…..If they identify a player that they think has the goods for 1st Grade but a Club like us is not giving him a proper go in 1st Grade, blame our Coaching staff and Management if we lose him.
Bellamy is astute and will get the best out of him.

He might be good, he might not be good. But I don't think I'll cry myself to sleep if we lose him. The over reaction to the potential loss of a 1 start player who is pretty fast is….well, incredible.

Unbelievable the Storm seeing talent in JAC but not Milone…!

Strange isn't it , that a club has no problem in seeing value in players, that aren't appreciated at other clubs.
Koribete was no good according to a lot of posters here, but Is very good with the storm. Now if this is true, in another season or two, we may see two fast Fijians on the wings for Storm.
I know, we can't keep them all, but it'd be nice if we could keep a few more of the good ones

Calm down,
1: Koroibete is in a much better team down there than he would have been if he stayed with us. I've seen him still make some terrible, terrible blunders down there.
2: Dunno what you're getting at - But if this is true, We have more chance of seeing a fast Fijian and a faster (Maybe) Aboriginal at the storm.

I'd be very surprised if Josh is Fijian…

I don't reckon this means they are offloading Koro - I think they will keep him.

Just goes to show pace is king - blistering speed on BOTH wings - and if a flat ball intercept is thrown, you can be chased down from BOTH wingers.

Think about it for a sec - Imagine having JAC and Koro as wingers in your team, Cooper Cronk can throw flat balls ad nauseum, almost worry free, since players taking the intercept will always most probably be run down by either JAC or Koro, or both.

It's fricking genius in my eyes.

The thing that makes it work is that Bellamy pairs strong defensive centres with the wingers, and it somewhat hides their ineptitude - although not always.

Fringe first graders, come and go…. not too concerned either, way, hope he makes a fist of it somewhere.

Koro is likely to stay at the Storm. They've been very clear and adamant that they want to sign him for at least 3 years.

Young Tonumaipea may be getting let go.

The only winger Parra has that I want is Semi. There's talk he's unhappy as he is owed money by the club.

Yes Josh is Koori

We don't have any wingers coming through the grades at present who look a realistic chance of first grade anytime soon. JAC is head and shoulders above any outside back currently in our system. We don't have any genuinely fast players either in any grade.

He's one we really need to keep. He's a potential match winner and a point of difference from all the plodders we currently have. The guys we have aren't bad, but they're all very simliar, and none of them are very quick. The point of difference JAC would provide would make an incredible difference to out attack and defence.

For 120k it would be madness to let him go. But if he feels he has Rankin, Nofo, Hunt ahead of him and potential reshuffles involving Simona, Milone, Chee Kam then that's a problem. Our team is too imbalanced with players of the same size and skills and it makes us predictable.
