There has not been one single person on this forum asking or wanting Alex Seyfarth to be our starting 2nd rower in 2026 or beyond.Yep, it’s like a cult or they’re probably friend and family. I gave just about every one of his stats across every round, including totals and averages, as well as comparing against other second rowers. One of the moron crew said I was cherry-picking yet couldn’t tell what I left out lol
It’s blatantly obvious that Alex Seyfarth is much more comfortable and prefers playing in the middle, BUT was forced to play on an edge for the majority of 2025 as we had nobody else.
We tried replacing him with a young up and comer in Tony Sukkar late in the season, were his stats any better ?
It’s been a very rare occurrence that anyone playing right edge for Wests Tigers over the past couple of seasons has stood out and/or provided decent stats.
KPP will fill the void on the right edge in 2026, he nearly always provides good stats, but will that alone be enough to get us more wins than 2025 ?
Anyone wanting to be critical and basing it on stats, should be basing the stats on time playing in the middle and compare those stats to other fringe bench players playing limited minutes across the NRL.
It’s funny how a player such as Seyfarth often gets praise from ex players commentating on games, yet our own expert fans want to label him as one of our major problems ???
