On the face of it, if Moses leaves us in the lurch after getting rid of Austin and Martin to give him the rails run at 5/8, that would reek of disloyalty.
I then remember that we are dealing with newspaper reports with no direct quotes, no substantiated fact, and no suggestion that the player himself has said any of this.
Best thing we can all do is stop believing the garbage that the newspapers are throwing around, and wait for either the club or the players to make a statement. Will make life much more enjoyable for everyone.
I don't know whether they'll sign with us again, but where does the "disloyalty "bit come in. They owe loyalty to the club, for only as long as their contract is for. After that, the only thing to consider is their own futures. They have probably seen by now that for anyone to show loyalty to a football club is Wasting their time , as most clubs will dump a player whenever it's convenient for the club.
The minute a players contract runs out, he has to think of his own welfare, because the club sure as hell won't worry about it later.
Even though I think they are limited as halves, I hope they do as well as they can wherever they play.
this is true but …... the worlds have changed where now players / managers are worried well before their contracts end.
thats part in parcel of why the everyone in the game is becoming more and more disenchanted.
how can players act or believe the club has their best interest at heat when they openly show absolute disloyalty towards other players / team mates.
"if they could do that to him - they can do that to me"
and then - all best are off.
