I’m generally negative towards Pascoe as I think he’s a bit of a goose, but I’m really hoping that Maguire has a plan we aren’t aware of yet. Letting go of Matterson without having someone lined up would be totally bonkers. But if he was just a piece of the puzzle and now we’re about to announce some new players, Im down with it.

Anyone that signs for us from now on knows what they are getting (Matterson excuse) and the era of free tickets in 1st grade are hopefully gone for good. They know Madge doesn't take any 💩 and expects hard work. This is what I have been wanting from our club for years. Pretty obvious to me something is about to drop. We were adamant we wouldnt release Matterson unless in our best interest. Ill wait for the announcement

Also gotta give credit to Maguire and Pascoe for basically erasing half of our bad debt inside one season.

It is exactly 1 year and 2 days since IC backstabbed us and officially signed with Penrith, and as of today we've cleared Mahe, Mats, Marsters and not Matto (didn't notice the alliteration at first).

If you could work our Reynolds and Packer then Cleary's poor decisions are basically undone.

Now Maguire gets to really start building his own team, in his second season, with a large chunk of salary cap space available. If he starts making bad decisions from hereon, he can't be blaming previous coaches.
