Ultimately it all comes down to how the current team has been evaluated with Galvin in it and whether he is needed for the 2nd half of the year.
Basically I’m saying if the outcome of the meeting is that Galvin and his management have the opportunity to negotiate a deal for start of 26 before Nov1 we won’t hear the end of release options.
Maybe a better statement might be to grant a release for the 26 season and allow early negotiation from July 1. Meaning there is no talk of an early release for this year and it gets sorted through the origin period and it’s back to business for the back end and it is respected fully closed at the end of the season.
The other side of it is, they could be considering using Galvin in a potential swap deal.

Let him sulk like the child he is, he can ask for a thousand releases. And we can just say sorry champ u have a contract.
 
it all keeps coming back to some underlying legal threat , it sounds worse than they have all stated about said subject that no 1 will talk about,last time i heard anything decent was the Fulton was a dead man walking b4 he got a foot in the door. It is a scheduled gathering , also could be part of Richo's wonderful news

I also don’t believe the narrative that the clubs do the same things as managers/players. Players can refuse to go if they want aka Packer. It’s up to them, not the same as players agitating, tanking and using the media to suit their agendas.

Said the same thing myself many times. Although clubs do move players on when they feel like it, the player ALWAYS gets their money. The clubs most of the time don't get a player of similar or better ability.

I agree Latu can do those things. The problem is keeping him on the field. It might be time for a visit to the US for that hamstring specialist if the club is banking on him moving forward.
As far as top 4, personally I don't think we have the forwards for that. Of course that can change and hopefully we can pick up another prop from somewhere, but the injury to Pole has exposed us badly.
