If he goes, he goes. But when he has come out and said he will see out his contract I've got no reason not to take him at his word. He has done and said nothing in the past to suggest he shouldn't be. If he leaves well then he obviously does not espouse the ideals he has tried to sell the playing group and fans, and then should rightly be called out on it.
Unless we have some good solid signings about to be announced through Ivans influence, just do the deal with Penrith and let Ivan do what he really wants to do, coach Nathan.
We dont need the focus and distraction of the whole Cleary father son thing that wont let up until they end up together, and it really doesnt look like it will be with us.
I was a big fan but just dont think we are the priority anymore. Penrith are dangling the carrot and you cant expect Ivan not to be thinking about it.

Agree but it's easy traffic to their websites to keep the story going. One of the most followed teams in the comp so just keep the story going and they'll get their clicks.

Im starting to get very nervous that IC is surrepticiously engineering his own demise(which will be WTs as well)…..some things just aren't making sense to me..
!)Corey HN,who IC coached ,snubbed WT for the supposedly cash strapped Dogs....hes exactly what we need,and frankly I was shocked that we didn't snare him.Maybe he knows something that's becoming increasingly transparent..?
2)We lose 3 centres in a year(Suli/Milne/Kev)and our sole options at this stage are Marsters and Fonua.Big fan of the latter,but his defensive effort last Thursday was a disgrace,and we need genuine 1st grade options,not some treid and tested reject from the Roosters(no offence to the kid,but hes not really what we need)
3)I sorta understand Farahs resigning given Liddles question mark over both his ability and durability...but re-signing Benji makes no sense whatsover.We're fully invested in Reynolds next year(all $750k of it),and sure he had his injury woes,but at 28 hes not exactly cooked like a Foran.Benji is another one whose defence just isn't close to NRL standard,and singlehandedly cost us 3 tries last Thurs against Bunnies.And he isn't going to get better a year older.Cant help but think this is a parting feel good gift for all...cant see Benji playing ISC next yr,so what exactly is the purpose???Id feel a lot better if we won more games...
4)Why aren't we chasing TPJ jnr..we must have a truckload of cash,and again he is exactly what we need,but the silence is deafening.Just like most other talent available.Tapau...not a mention.

Personally, all his body language makes me think he'll leave when the season is over, but yes, he did say he would honour his contract.
