Wigan don't want to release him apparently
That’s just them saying show us the money. They want a transfer fee which is fair enough.
Well that de-escalated quickly..
You reckon we’ll get him this year Geo?
Not sure..Hastings has been discussed for 6 months with a view to 2022..they hadn't approached Wigan for an early release at that stage at all
Chammas article is Sam Ayoub 101..timing is everything
Not sure apart from cash is in it for Wigan a pretty pivotal position they would need to find a replacement where halves are just as scarce in the ESL as they are in the NRL..
I don't get it and find it untimely news for us, it's honestly knocked me for six that we're already reworking our plans. I've only heard how on top of things the club are yet there's this sudden decision which could potentially destabilise two clubs and possibly impact another.
Add in the fact how much unwanted attention this will attract to the club/team.
Don't like how this looks at all.
Nothing against our target, as I don't even know who he is.
Poor Cowboys fans thought Ben Barba was the second coming of Jesus when signing him after his Man of Steel win. So think I'll reserve any judgement/opinion on how much a saviour he'll be.
Someone on here said we're in uncharted territory but I see the exact same storyline playing out.
It began with Scott Prince and Brett Hodgson and hasn't changed much at all since then - Tim Moltzen, Shannon McDonnell, Robert Lui, Luke Brooks, Jacob Liddle, James Tedesco, Tui Lolohea, Benjia Marshall, Robbie Farah, Moses Mbye, Adam Doueihi, Pita Godinet, Matt Ballin.
This club has a way of tempting fate.
