Yes I believe Teddy does have his heart in the right place and I also believe he was pushed by the grub Ayoub to go to Canberra when he never really wanted to go.
I have no doubt Ayoub tried to blackmail the club but Tedesco was a bit smarter than the grub and told him where to go. Unfortunately a lot of players don't have the balls to sack Ayoub when he clearly is not representing their best interests.

The contradiction is a bit of a concern "Teddy is his own Man" and "he was pushed by the grub Ayoub".

Another scenario is he chased the lime green bucks knowing the next injury could mean his last game, That Ayoub was doing his job as a good manager should and negotiated a great deal with the Raiders.

He chased the dollars in Canberra because their offer was likely significantly higher than ours. He was mad not to take it.

Ayoub is still a grub either way, and that predated all the crap with Farah.

He chased the money but he and his family were bitterly disappointed with how the WT's and in particular Mayer handled the contract negotiations

When people just flat out don't return phone calls in regards to the contract , you know there is an issue

Happy, Im confused. Weren't you saying that Teddy was angry that Farah tried to force him to stay with Ayoub last year? Not that Teddy was annoyed that Farah forced him to stay with the Tigers the year before last?

This club has a strong history of dominant players trying to force other players to sign with their player managers. Old Rocks & Diamonds used to do it all the time and caused a lot of problems around 2007/08.

Thats far easier to believe than Farah forced him to stay. What did he do? Kidnap his father and threaten to behead him?

It didn't happen , but I don't want Robbie to miss out on his Knighthood for his services to James Tedesco and the WT's

Oh i forgot, you were there werent you? Did you have something sweet with your coffee?

No

I got a reply about a joke I made about expecting a signed Canberra jersey

Hope that was for your dartboard

I was referring to his last contract negotiations

No way is Moses worth a million.

With TPA's he'll go bloody close if he tests his full market value

Like Tedesco and his last contract , clubs will offer him marquee money even though he is not quite marquee just yet

Will go more than bloody close for mine. Can't see any of the better halves totalling less than seven figures in the next round of contracts as they are in short supply.

Especially 5/8's

Moses and Teddy will be paid 1m a year by someone.
It's the going rate for gun playmakers or fullbacks.

WT need 3rd party contracts to lower the cap number.
Look at STGI for Hunt.

Yeah but that's just a desperado move that has partly been made with the expectation that there will be a sharp increase in the cap over the next 6 years.

Many teams are looking for 5/8 's

Melbourne
Brisbane
Dogs
Eels
Newcastle
Souths

Plus Moses would happily be picked up by any team in the comp.

He will very likely play origin in the near future.

He is definitely up there as one of the best 5/8 in the comp

Last year at the Dally M's he had the most points out of all the 5/8's, only losing to Maloney (deservingly so)

I would be happy to pay whatever it takes to keep Moses (and Teddy) at the club

Why would Brisbane be looking for a 5/8\. Where is Milford going? And the Knights have big wraps on Brock Lamb.

Moses can play half and Milford usually plays left hand side of field, Moses right,

Can we stop talking about what side of the field Moses would play on with Broncs

Can we focus on a possible finals berth for 2017, and also 9's for those that are interested

I think it's the going rate for gun spine players. Is Moses at that level?? I believe this year he will be in the top 5 five eights and we will have to pay up. For mine 750 seems reasonable but It will be more for sure.

I don't think money will be the issue for Tedesco. Our club will look after him financially, he'll get market value from us. Moses, I'm not so sure. Something tells me he's prepared to take the money and run.

I still fail to understand how the NRL expects clubs and player to negotiate in good faith when they have not set the salary cap for 2018\. That is poor administration.
Some clubs who have signed a load of players for 2018 and beyond may start to panic if the cap doesn't rise to the amount predicted.

I think you'll find WBT is just a youngster and trying to be positive, not having a go.

Oh well, that's great news that you will be paying their salaries, WBT; very generous of you and our cap issues have suddenly disappeared.
