Lachlan Galvin #277 *Megathread*

Braith's reaction last night was interesting. If he doesn't know more about what is going on behind the scenes Id be very surprised. He was so adamant about getting him out of the club and looked filthy.
I’m pretty sure Braith is a mate of Benji’s and is pissed off at the way Galvin’s team has thrown Benj under the bus. That and he is probably completely off Issac Moses as a rival agent.

Isn't it funny that he is leaving because he wants development as a HALF yet wherever he goes he's gonna end up in the forwards, eventually
Which is also funny cos so did we but he's adamant he's a half....

This situation is ridiculous.
Our season really took a hit when all this GARBAGE beg

Bwaiff has bagged his own clients for not listening to advice , on 360,but its all double edged talk.

I'm sick of hearing and reading all this about Galvin
Lets face it the kid is a medium talent at the moment certainly not a
gamebreaker. I do think he will become a great player in 2 -3 years
Wests Tigers need to get on with life and put a team on the park each week that will
Get us in top 8 for 2025
Get us in top 4 for 2026
For that we need more depth !!!
We get a handful of injuries and really suffer for it
We must settle on a half's pairing so who pairs with Luai
First choice is Latu who we need 100% fit and coached brilliantly to do the job
Other options include Api at 7 and TDS at 9
Or TDS at 7 and Hope the new utility at 14

Of course Where's RICHO ? We need some signings asap
Where's the 2 or 3 you promised ?

I agree. The reactions towards his family by people on here is pathetic.
I can understand where they are coming from. If I had a son playing in this system over the past 3 years, there’s no way in hell I’d be advising him to stay.
As in your would advise him to agitate for a release?

Galvin should be the depth coming through (and could be at dogs) but there you go…

Tigerballs
I can tell you that I have been in conversations with Mr.Galvin
and what you heard is not how it is, He is sticking with his son has always been in winning sides and Lachlan doesn’t see that happening at the Tigers.
And no Father Galvin gave us no indication where Lachlan will end up.
I have mentioned before some of the crap written about Lachlan’s
Father is just rubbish.
This is half the problem "his son has always been in winning sides"..

Is this because they have moved him from club to club so that they are always winning?

Theres a trend here.

And the self entitled little pr1ck and his delusional father haven't considered that he wouldn't be in the NrL if it wasn't for Benji Marshall

They bite the hand that feeds them everywhere they go to "chase success"..

I'll reiterate.. Galvin and his father have played at winning clubs because they are self entitled and think he's better than he is.. there is no team first with them. It is Galvin first.. Galvin one and only.

Please give my regards to Mr Galvin and let him know I hope pole belts the FK out of the little cnt when we play him in opposing colours

I heard a different take on this today. Galvin actually wanted to stay at WT and Moses saw an opportunity to put the boot into Benji, hence the list of grievances, hoping they'd opt to keep Galvin and punt Benji, probably for a coach Moses acts for. Similar to Penrith punting Gould to get Ivan Cleary back so his son wouldn't follow him to WT.
Rich wasn't copping that and released the statement immediately to expose Moses.
If that's the case then it's doubtful any deal had already been done with any other club.
A complete backfire.. I like it. We can only hope that’s what happened. Not out of the realm of possibility

Lachie may have been happy to see out his contract but doubt that he was ever going to re- sign.
But that didn't suit Moses - and every thing since is evidence that he had no intention of supporting his client to honour his career contract at WTs and had done everything in his power to derail our season while ensuring that the situation became untenable

It 💯 is. He’s the kid /dad , where the dad is a pain in the arse , and as soon as his kids not the star , or the team is going wrong , he looks for the exit door .
Shit parenting . And now he’s raised a kid who can’t handle adversity .
Heard that from multiple sources .
Even the famous 5k to play for wests story is very much the same as this .

It all adds up doesn't it..

Here's a theory I just came up with.

What if the bullying of Galvin relates to his dad. The boys ripped into him (fair enough) and at some point, someone took it too far.
