You're acting like a spoiled baby. The club made him a good offer, he wouldn't commit, the club moved on. What exactly do you want them to do?
It's also quite possible that the Tigers have realised they're playing a strong hand - they've pulled this offer, but have left the door open to making a (possibly smaller) one if Mitchell gets his s- together.

what standards are they Geo? Never winning anything, ever? I've followed this club since I was old enough to follow rugby league but i've just about had enough.

They are obviously doing their best
They are the ones that really know what's going on
LM is probably hoping for something better
Can't blame Pascoe and Madge for that
At least they tried
This pulling of the contract shows we have balls
LM no longer has bargaining power
Other clubs dealing with him have power over him now
He may struggle to get anywhere near what he wants now
Time to move on
Maybe he will suddenly realize this is his best option and commit
But we've made a powerful stand that I believe will give us power in future dealings with any potential player
oh yeah everyone will be gagging to join us.

Allowing players special treatment over others in the squad we have done that in the past...not a good way to build a winning culture...
As talented as Mitchell may be...if he wasn't the right fit for what we want to build..well next..
FWIW....from what I've been told Mitchell's management had agreed for him to come here ..then wanted changes in the contract ..to which WT weren’t prepared to make…at this stage…
We still have interest in Mitchell…
IMO it shows we are going in the right direction...
chin up mate

Once a club starts to kowtow to player's rediculous demands the club is on a path out. That's why roosters are a top club.

I'm not acting like a baby at all. This club has a long track record of making poor decisions. It's a bit of a pattern. If they have no contingency plan you don't think they're stupid? If Thompson is fullback round 1 next year will you be happy?

And we are going to end up as good as the roosters

Honestly, I don't believe we have a contingency plan.

Already been reported on nrl.com that we're now in for JAC.
