I see this going 2 ways
1. LM goes to a strong club, talks about success and history of club at presser. = Souths
Or
2. LM takes the $, talks about how he likes where the Tigers are heading thinks the future is bright here etc.

For me it's not just about him been a quality Fullback with all his skills / stats etc.... Its about what he will do for our club.
He will attract sponsors, Memberships, other quality players, Media and exposure for us to build our brand.
The old saying goes - if you do what you have always done you get what you always got (Buying average players).. = 9th Position :man-shrugging:
This is just my thoughts and respect yours as everyone has there own.

I’m now convinced that Mitchell is likely coming to the Tigers. Even if it’s only a 1 year contract should we sign him?

Do we trust our coach with top line recruitment? I do and he knows a lot more than most of us about player attitudes Why do we need to question the motives of players or our club's attempt to recruit one of the best talents in the NRL?

Leading point scorer in the NRL (for the premiers), 19 tries (for the premiers), excellent goal kicker (for the premiers) (about 1% better on average than ours) and at 22 yo (with pretty much a pea brain). That is my opposing view.
I'd give him 750k for year 1, if he makes a good go of it, maybe then we could look at a decent increase (if it is warranted).
Your opinion doesn't make you right, neither does mine - it is an opinion.
