This thread has had the strange effect of aging me while making me less mature.

I care that we sign a marquee, don't really care who. Can the forum just be shut down for a day or two as I've got 2 exams this week and it has turned into a train crash scenario where it is simply too bad to stop watching. TIA.

Patriot I don't think anyone is against signing Mitchell

I just think most don't want to overpay or in my case don't want to put the carriage in front of the horse



Sorry Happy you are wrong. Thats your spin on it. People actually hate the guy and think he is a flake and a pretender.

Ive read it all. It has nothing to do with spending our money wisely.

People either genuinely dont like the guy or they have this misplaced ideal that our club should only sign good guys on modest contracts.

ie people are happy to finish 9th every single season!

Based on the initial reports of the 5.2 million 4 year contract I agree ....many were against it

Back on a 4 year / million a year many think differently

Again for me (wrongly or rightly ) I think the 1st deal would have been perfect for everyone

Latrell comes to the WT's in 2021 and offered a 4 year deal / 4 million deal....and that gave us time to buy some forwards to set the platform for Latrell

Some people on this forum actually read other clubs forums. My God, say it isn’t so.

There are a number of contributors to this forum that continually put the club down at every opportunity.

Don’t buy him, he is not worth the money. He’s small, he’s big, he’s.slow, he’s morally currupt,etc, etc.

They insist that we could buy a couple of forwards and an outside back or two for the money that the club is willing to spend on a very high profile player. They never say who these forwards or backs are.

They [This word has been automatically removed] and moan about pretty much everything the club attempts.

I don’t really care one way or the other if Mitchell comes or not. I do care however about the juvenile rants that are becoming far to regular on this forum.

Some of you really need to grow up.

Problem is that when this all started a lot more options were on the table

You'd have had us agree to the initial 4 year /5.2 million contract

This isn't the EPL and limitless supplies of cash

If we can learn ANYTHING from the Roosters and Storm is not to overpay for anyone
