Why is the forum so obsessed with buying players who would be cheap, even when we have money for a star. Some people on this forum actually read other clubs forums. My God, say it isn’t so.

There are a number of contributors to this forum that continually put the club down at every opportunity.

Don’t buy him, he is not worth the money. He’s small, he’s big, he’s.slow, he’s morally currupt,etc, etc.

They insist that we could buy a couple of forwards and an outside back or two for the money that the club is willing to spend on a very high profile player. They never say who these forwards or backs are.

They [This word has been automatically removed] and moan about pretty much everything the club attempts.

I don’t really care one way or the other if Mitchell comes or not. I do care however about the juvenile rants that are becoming far to regular on this forum.

Some of you really need to grow up.

Complaining about everyone elses opinions on a social media platform and then has the audacity to tell everyone else to grow up. Why you don't you be the adult for a change and just accept that not everyone shares the same world view as you? Deadset, 80% of your posts would be you complaining about other people's opinions.

@Cultured_Bogan it’s true though . People come on here for informed discussion , and a genuine love of the tigers . Yet there’s no acknowledgement of the positive changes from some fans . I don’t want an echo chamber , but , clear miserable death riding contributes nothing.
If you want to say Lattrell isn’t worth it , or we should play Mbye here etc. that’s constructive discussion.
The tigers suck , Pascoe is useless , Brooks is crap, we will always suck ..... tell me how this is anything other than , a clear need to see a psychologist?

I must have missed something... did the club say they will announce something today? it was all the media right? but I am all behind knowing what has transpired... has he signed or not so we can all put this to bed... either way the next question is "then what?" lol

You could argue the same of the people who take hardlines on everything.

While I don't share the eternal pessimism of some, I understand why some WT fans feel that way and why they are wary about being positive for the future. We have been let down so many times over the years by this club and bar 2005 and 2010-11, we have had zero to cheer about.

Lastly, the forum has a foe function. You don't want to see the people who are regularly negative, foe them. Don't demand their silence because it doesn't meet your views.

I had the misfortune to read that Telegraph story on Meninga wanting LM. The punch line of course being that the Titans can't actually afford him! Combined with the garbage repeated over and over on social media until it becomes "fact", it must be difficult for the WTs to maintain its silence.

@Snake At least the club seems to be on a professional front which is a major positive over what has transpired in the past . Win or lose this one I have been impressed with how the club has handled the situation... all and sundry are just grabbing at straws including the media . No more leaks in the SS WESTSTIGERS I am getting the strong feeling the futures looks very bright indeed..

Because you need both? I'm going to buy a new car next year but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get some new underpants too.

Because you need both? I'm going to buy a new car next year but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get some new underpants too.

You do need both, but why is the focus always on who we can get cheaply, opposed to who we can attract on big money we are in the position to throw at an elite player.
