Enjoying our team winning. Fingers crossed the winning streak continues playing the Rabbitohs. I pray we dont get many injuries playing them. Go Tigers

You have a job to do this Weekend TM , run onto the field and take out Inglis  and you will forever have Immortal status on this Forum

Yes but make sure you take him out with a remote control car or something, otherwise you'll be caught  Those things are great for tripping people up and breaking their ankles and no one will ever know who done it :smiling_imp:

You must have a Cup holder on your remote control Car in the house and drive it to the Mrs in the Kitchen and get her to put your next drink on the Car then drive it to where your seated , when the Footy is on

You would hate missing a minute of the footy, especially when we are winning FT. Your idea sounds beneficial for you and the missus

Moses is warming up…

Remeber the dogs game last year.
He'll kick into gear soon.

 , you seriously make me laugh Flip , i once had an idea as well . But to put it in practice (i was no hope)
If someone can invent a noiseless vacuum you will make Millions IMO .
In a Hospital Cleaners with vacuums noise while there is sick Patients , but what can you do it's a 24 hour joint :bash .

I think in Rd 3 2014, we beat Souths with them being a stronger team than they are this year and us being better this year than we were last year

Here's hoping we can pull it off again.

It would be an absolute delight , i will be doing Cartwheels if we can jag it and we would potentially be Top of the Ladder after 3 Rounds

How about what we all said at the beginning of the season..

" We will have our ups and downs this year"…we have had 2 ups 1down coming up next week...[/quote)

Exactly right, and it probably will be a down this week , but just for a change why don't we all as supporters , support them for once.
We don't have to go overboard , but just this time , lets not barbecue any of them before they've even left the field.

Theyre a young side and are putting in an effort ( despite what some of us experts may think at times) and they'll cop enough crap from the Silvertails fans if they lose. So let's get behind themwhatever the result

The realist says that Souths will be too good for us. But a loss can still be win. Getting within 12 points of them would be a massive effort. Them and the Roosters are a class above the rest of the field. The way i see it, it would go

Roosters, Rabbitohs

Dogs, Manly, Storm, Panthers, Cowboys

Tigers, Parra, Warriors, Knights, Broncos, Sharks

Raiders, Dragons, Titans

So we basically need to rise two levels to be able to go with them. We've got off to a good start, but we're not there yet.

Great to have a chance to do a little cheering and sitting on the edge of the seat again. But I really can't see anything other than a complete pasting this weekend against the Rabbits. Hope I'm wrong, but can't help but be rather anxious. Some of our guys seem to be really going well, but man, **I'm still totally unconvinced that Moses is our answer.** To me, he looks completely out of his depth.

I have been saying this for a while - he makes a few good cut out passes and defends well in a group but his one on one defence is poor. He rarely takes on the line and when he does it is usually the wrong option - its still early days and I'm hoping that by mid season I will be eating humble pie - however at this satge I hope we have Te Maire Martin tied up.

Pretty close to the mark I reckon, but I'd drop the Cowboys down a rung. A team of stars doesn't necessarily make a good team.

Give Moses a bit more time to prove himself WD. He's only played a handful of first grade games so far. Hopefully both he and Brooks will continue to improve under the watchful eye of JT.

I wonder how many weeks or years he is given. There seems to be no indication on that front. I thought it was crazy to not allow Austin the opportunity to secure the 6\. But I won't continue and drag down an upbeat thread at this point though. Wonder what peoples thoughts are on what sort of time frame he or anyone for that matter should be given to prove themselves. Some of our guys seem to be given years.

Early days with Moses and Brooks, if in two months we have lost plenty of games and they are struggling than I would be looking at changes, but at present we are not paying them a squillion dollars to play in reserve grade and they will get better and better.

WD, if you get a chance have a read of this thread on Tedesco (Tedesco VS Mullaney): http://www.weststigersforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18147

It's interesting how much expectation we put on the kids. A lot on here expect immediate results from 19/20 year old kids.
