So 851 Im guessing you just glossed over the headline of the article?

**Liam Fulton set to leave Giants for Wests Tigers**

In the story it says"he is expected to rejoin the WestsTigers' doesn't say definite.

So far Liam is our marquee signing!

He will fill the JM void but hopefully a lot better and not as a subbing halfback.

as Fulton has played his last game for the giants i would like to wish him all the best back home in OZ and at the Wests next season. Not the best player i have seen but his defence has been fantastic, and put 100% in each game. Thanks alot no doubt he is going back a better player.

Looking forward to getting him back. Will he be back at lock?Where did play mostly this year at
the Giants?I did like Galea at lock though.

Hearing he'll be back in a fortnight and be signing 2 year contract.

Can't say I'm too enthused about it. Fulton didn't impress against Catalans and got cleaned up by Greg Bird in the second half.

I was hoping to see a more physically developed Liam when i switched the tv on today, didnt happen. If Sheens insists on sticking with both Liam and Heighno ahead of our young guys it will be a tragedy. We could probably handle one of the two in the starting side, but not both.

Anyone who thinks his stink in the UK has made him a better player is kidding themselves. Folkes needs to step in and put some size on the bloke.

Not sure i speak that language mate.

U basing that opinion on anything or is it just a gut feeling, or maybe just clutching at hope?

Not clutching at hope or a gut feeling just fact…..Heighington faced his first year with serious injury last year people forget that ....first time in first grade....

Fully fit next year he will be back to his 08 form I have no doubt.....running wider if the signing I'm hoping for comes off....

Fulton has improved his attack regardless of that performance against Le Catalan's and his defencive workrate was up there with the best in the ESL one on one tackles and scramble has improved as well something we desperately needed with Halatau Collis in the team...........

Not sure that classifies as a fact mate, im sure u wouldnt put your house on Chris regaining his 08 form, i hope he does, but by no means is it a fact.

Im not doubting Liam is a good player, he is. But there's 3 things about having both Liam and Heighno in the starting pack that worries me.

1.I just have a small fear that Liam's size combined with Heighno's lack of dominace could leave us vulnerable against physical packs.

2.It doesnt give our halves the correct "style" of backrower they need. Give Benji and Moltzen genuine hole running backrowers and they go to another level.

3.I fear if we persist with these two it will result in better, bigger and younger players going elsewhere.

I can see one of them having a role, but not both.

Only some exceptional results from both players will see me tone down my campaign for the young guns to come through.

Bring on Akeripa, Mataka, Gower, Dwyer and J Shirnack i say.

The young blokes like Schirnack Dwyer Fafita and Akeripa will get there crack mid season when Heighno is on Rep duty….

Mataka I want there off the bench from the begining.......

Look my bias for Liam probably maybe blinds my judgement........

no one can say we don't have plenty of options in the back row and bench.....

hahahahaha, Heighno rep duty? Mate i love your optimism and i hope your right.

With Gareth playing 80 mins and our front rowers all capable of playing a lot of minutes, i wouldnt mind seeing Heighno at 13 with Liam giving him a rest. Im sure both players playing less minutes and being told to go nuts cleaning everything up for us could work, allowing a couple of real attackers to share the role of Ellis' partner.

Some people believe in picking the best 17 players, but i believe in picking the best balanced 17 which suits our key men.

in the catalan game he started in the second row like most of his games but when lolesi got taken off whatuira moved back into the centers and fulton to 6, ( our stand off picked up a injury in the cup final).
