Why should I look in the mirror , I didn’t play . ? We didn’t lose because of a lack of attack . We lost because of 3 defensive reads . Simpkin was responsible for 2 , which is fine as he’s 19, AD the other , which has been a big reason for our losses this year .
It’s not Blame , it’s a fact , we need to fix that part of the field .

What we need is a decent halfback to help get us a few more points and not go missing.

I thought Reynolds did nothing for 82 of 83 minutes . But because of his kick , and it was only 1 , guys like you will harp on and on . I thought LM and walker won that game for Souths . And Reynolds did exactly what he was supposed to , just bomb to the corners and kick and chase .
He’s just a way better kicker than Brooks .

I find it hillarious that you come out and blame brooks , and many of us point out , that no , in actuality it was defence that lost us the game , namely AD and JTJ , and you say stop using AD as a scapegoat . A shame we didn't get the 2, but proud of the team tonight. Above all, the EFFORT was good to see. Many were expecting a 50 point thrashing.

As well as our effort, the most pleasing thing was that Souths actually played well. Off tonight we have shown that our team really can match it with the best.

The "Madge is useless, we have no good players, the club's in crisis" talk has been very much overblown. We've had a very tough draw to start the season, and I think the Cowboys match was the aberration, not tonight.
