Madge Maguire - Mega Thread

Morris inherited a squad instilled with toughness by a coach that few of our blokes would have lasted a minute. Our blokes "walk on eggshells" for fear of being dropped when they are losing!

Morris had to coach a squad torn apart by the events at the Sharks. He held the squad together and very well. Why is it so popular on this forum to understate his achievements but to support Maguire who has achieved bugger all from Blackhall with the NRL team.

The players at the Sharks when Morris was assistant and head coach had never say die leaders in Gallen, Lewis, and Graham paving the way built by a hard nose coach.

That never say die attitude, we'd like some of that at WTs. All the more reason to get him at WTs asap. We're all on the same page about that issue.

Thanks. Cant believe it Brooks survives again- Doueihi shifted and Mbye in. Id have rather shifted Brooks to centres and Mbye to half if they had to. Bring on Morris into the coaching ranks asap please. Cant see Maguire lasting much longer.

Stef has been dropped? I’d be dropping tamou before him!! Wonder if that means packer is playing or if it will be amone will get a crack ?

The problems with the Wests Tigers has been around since 2000.

This predates Madge.

BE HONEST - The One Successful year in 2005 was an aberration.

Madge is breaking apart the culture of this club that has seen us recruit softies who fall apart.

If the younger players are indeed spelled this week then I believe he is taking away all the excuses of the senior players.

I am firmly in the Madge Maguire corner, I am sick of my club being the easy beats over the last 10 years

There is only one coach that can do the job outside of Maguire and that’s Shane Flanagan.
The roster needs to be culled. No one will go any good changing coaches is pointless.

The team is B grade

I read that many times but I have confidence in our playing group.

I don’t. Our best players are young or rookies. Bright futures but the squad is a bottom 4 roster under Craig Bellamy with Wayne Bennett as his assistant and Trent Robinson running the water.
