Hopefully we get Flanagan on the team

Hopefully we don’t

Hopefully Flanagan ceases his involvement in Rugby League

Can't see that happening.

Good gig and probably gets rewarded well $$

He honestly shouldn't have had a choice.

I'm surprised he was welcomed back so openly and it's not even an after thought.

Sitting behind the desk with the other talkers.
Forgive and forget, when it suits eh?

All that aside though, I'm interested to see what's next for him and if we bring him on board. Got his media buddies really pushing him at the moment and we all know he'd be ready to strike as soon as the time comes to slide into Madges seat.

That would be the best result

Forgive and forget - Has pretty much always been the case in the NRL.

There are many complete pieces of shit playing this sport, a bit of player doping is pretty tame[*] by comparison (and highly doubtful it was limited to the Sharks).

[*] Not saying it's OK.

The funny thing about the NRL is how lack of integrity or credibility hasn't always sunk certain teams yet however ensured success for them.

"It's just business."

Best way to do that is to become head coach of Wests Tigers! ? so let's hope you don't get your wish

Thoughts on Cooper Cronk as an assistant coach?..he has a good footy brain of the modern game

I would take him, even just as a halves consultant. He does really good work on leadership as well so could be good for developing leadership in guys like AD.

People know he works already for both the Storm and Roosters in consultancy roles as well as Fox

He won't wreck his legacy and come here .....

Or….. he could knock his legacy out of the park. I mean seriously, how hard is it to make the Storm or Roosters look good?
But try and make the West’s Tigers look good. That is one impressive coaching consultant who can pull that off

That's how they get rid of Madge without paying him out, Very crafty old Lee.
Madge will be having nightmares of losing his job.

No thank you

Looks like flano may be happening

Anything more than rumour?

Not against it on the same moral grounds as u but I think he’d just add more instability at the club.

That would be my second concern, I wouldn't be as upset in an assistant role, but I still don't think he should be involved in the game and agree he would be a destablising influence on the club.

There would be 50 daily telegraph stories before a trial game kicked off

Toovey and Farah/Pay with Thurston or someone doing some halves work.

Not exactly sure why Toovey rarely gets a mention as full time or assistant . Did ok with Manly and is one of the few on 360 i can relate too?

Whats Rowdy doing these days , a bucket load of his determination wouldnt go astray about now

Yeah I was thinking the same. A lot of talk around Robbie but not much about Rowdy. Maybe his business interests and the crap he allegely copped from Pascoe to extend before his last year is a blocker. He is probably the most qualified and genuine former WT player of recent times. Also, A one club player from MacArthur region .
