I'm starting a my little pony collection.

I was at the game (my bad). Here's my brief summary.
Too many simple stupid errors that led to tries from that set. Like we have done since 2011 we make an error then walk around kicking stones instead of muscling up and making amends. Zero toughness or resilience.
Defence on both edges is the worst in the league. Talu was terrible last night, almost comical. Nofa has no idea pisitionally.
Nikorama, Walsh and RTS were all class for the Warriors. They looked great with ball in hand. They were dangerous because they are skilled. We don't have skill. Brooks had the ball a lot and while he tried hard he lacks skill and still does not have the ability to nail a game because he doesn't read it all that well.
Mbye does my head in. Threw a good pass for Garner to score but mostly looks lazy and uninterested.
Forwards did well, they held their own.
As I said before, our main problem is that We are an unskilled footy team and are sitting rightly so on the ladder.

Listening through ABC grandstand app in Queenstown Tasmania.
Getting harder to tune in every week. I miss Leichhardt I miss our crowd energy and comradary . I miss winning

Talau is just not a first grader.

It has been Nofo's move forever, sometimes its justified as we are out numbered.
I can distinctly remember 5+ situations were he has jammed on short sides for no reason and got caught out.

Nofa does it so often that I can only believe that he's instructed to do it.

All wingers at all clubs are told to support their centre if they go in,the FB/cover is supposed to look after overlaps

Support their Centre? Nofa rushed in so far he was inside doueihi on the last try.

I nearly threw my remote at the screen when Nofa did that.
Beggars belief a first grade winger with 150 NRL games under his belt still still does that.

I learnt not to shoot up on my own goal line like that in under 13s...

He’s incapable of learning.

I think most of this team have no football nous at all......could that be the real problem ?

I think they're poorly coached. But Bellamy could coach Nofo and it wouldn't make a difference. He's incapable of learning and he's made the same mistakes his entire career. He's a liability.

Defensively he is a liability. He also is great when we have the ball. We gotta accept him for who he is.

He’s not great at anything.

I disagree. He consistently belts the ball back for us. He scores tries. He is one of the better hit-up wingers in the comp.

He isn't a great winger as he lacks pace and he is a terrible defender but he is our best outside back. Doueihi may be better as an outside back but I'd play Doueihi in the halves.

Respectfully disagree Earl. He crabs sideways more often than he goes forward, his defence is absolute abhorrent and his ability to finish a try is marginally better than Robert Jennings (but worse than George). His ability to get a 4 year extension at good money is one of the great rugby league cons of all time.

I think he’s close to the worst winger in the comp

worst or second worst, but they both play for us

I miss supporting a team that has an even chance of winning

I think we have started one game as favourites.. against Cowboys.

I attended the game & Joey L & Talua just didn't turn up & the body lanuage of these two was terrible. I say do not pull on the jersey unless you are prepared to give everything you've got. Talua didn't turn & chase when beaten - I can't remember either Morris boys not chasing, ever . Brooks never gave up all night. But sadly it seems we can't get all 13 to play their hearts out on the same day. There are always a couple not giving their all during the game which must effect the other players. Also there was no change in tactics when the Warriors went down to 12 - twice.

Oxymoron, Tiger's only hire non-footballers.

The few footballers we have (Tedesco et al) leave to go win games/premierships.

When you're best footballers **consistently** leave for greener pastures.

It's time to buy some compost.

Good on Luke brooks but his job isnt to never give up. His job is to lift those around him and inspire them to play a good brand of football.

That is why halves get paid big money.

Would love to see him lose his mind and rip into to a couple of our players. But i guess that is asking too much.

I was very offended when Ben Ikin said we are a bottom 4 side due to our roster, turns out he was right.

He did give us 1-2 years for our green shoots to start to bear fruit.
So be excited 2023.

PS conversely he rated the cowboys a contender for the 8.

His been right on both....

Two things make you jam in off a wing.

1. Strategy - coach has identified an opportunity based on video
2. Lack of trust in your teammates

Given how flimsy our right edge has been all season my money is on number 2.

Edit: make that both edges

Of course.

Douhei looks like the only player with some pedigree.

It's hard being a fan.

Exactly, and the coach moves him into a position where he gets no ball. Crazy stuff

Says the halves don't play the ball to the centres.
Move the half to the centres and now he doesn't get no ball either.

No hate on Brooks, he played well last night.

This is just one big joke.
Ropeable.

The problem for AD and JL was the ball never got past LG and LL and when it did DL (the link) got hammered every time. Look at the video for the past month ..every time we sweep The opposition focuses on DL and the play stops .

The problem on the wings definitely starts in the middle. They are often left with 2 or 3 on 1 with no help coming across. It’s impossible to make the right choice under those circumstances. Come in and the opposition throws a long pass and score and they get criticised for not staying on their wing. Stay on their wing and a short pass is thrown and the opposition score and the wing gets criticised for not jamming in. They are on a hiding to nothing at the moment.

Agree in most cases. Last week there were some iffy decisions. It comes back to the team playing as individuals, not communicating and not putting their bodies in line for the collision.
