Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....

What a joke, 'player never comes before the club'.
So coaches and NRL puppets on the board do???
Taylor and Go don't represent my club, I've supported the club over 30 years. How long u reckon Go has?? To speak on our behalf….
Hopefully this board will move on it is a joke, no idea about football. But yet they back a coach who urinates on public! Top effort!
It Go-es both ways..
You're clutching. The board are paid to make these kinds of decisions, not the players. Sooner or later a board has to stop siding with the players and stand behind the coach. They're doing what the last board should have done. And if the players don't like it and want to sing songs about him like 12 yr olds in their clubhouse with the "No Girlz allowed" sign on the door then they should be told to hit the bricks too. They wouldn't want to get too smart as half of them wouldn't get a gig anywhere else.
Funny stuff!
U crack me up, u and the other 6-7 haters on here. I'd be surprised if u guys actually went to any games, seem like armchair guys to me.
Funny how u talk about my straw clutching, yet there are very small amounts of u guys on here with the hate crimes. Did farah sleep with your girlfriends or something???
Also the board aren't paid and shouldn't be either. They, U and Taylor are not my club.
I heard farah was the guy who got Abbott kicked out too!!! Next the world….
You're pretty funny yourself. Everything you just said is interchangeable with JT and what his critics have said about him. You talk about arm chair critics, how aren't you one of those the way you and others have verbally bashed the board and JT? I suppose that's different eh?
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.
Big difference, RF club legend been here since a junior, NSW hooker, won us the grandfinal, won the second SOO last season and still one if the best players at the club(if allowed).
JT won no grand finals as player or coach, in fact his well paid U20's rorters team got beaten by our less payed tod payten coached team!!
Apart from that what has the great Taylor done??????????????? Crickets, crickets and more crickets….
Marina Go hmmmmm! Don't know what she has done, do u know?? U seem to know a lot about her. Please explain more.

Taylor's taken 2 different NRL sides to finals series. No crickets here.

Arm chair critic. Pot meet kettle.

Farah Weather outlook - VERY CLOUDY, murky even!!

Please refer to: http://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/robbie-farahs-manager-sam-ayoub-prepares-to-dump-dirty-laundry-to-embarrass-wests-tigers/story-e6frf3wu-1227530584275

I wonder what all 16 clubs could dish up on Sam Ayoub ??

People is glass houses Sam …...........

He does make some points , but he is also a player manager and will say whatever his clients want him to say or what will earn him an extra penny

Initially, I would have liked to see some form of compromise so that Farah could play in the starting 17 next year. While that may still be an option (due to the negotiating powers of big business) I no longer hold that view.
Yes, perhaps this situation could have been handled better, but the fact remains Farah has been identified as surplus to WT requirements, full stop. Time to move on. Paul Vautin gave Farah that advice on live TV and good on him. Farah needed to hear that.
The inferential evidence around Farah from IE Sheens/Potter, combined with the petulance of this effort tells me that he could be a destabilising influence if he remains anywhere around the main playing group. From my perspective, I would rather see our young talent have the opportunity to develop, win or lose, without his influence.
I agree with posts above that say fans have the right to publicly display their affection for Farah. What baffles me is the small mindedness behind the ongoing idolatry. “No Robbie, no members”. Excuse me?
Even in their own banners they are effectively undermining the rest of Wests Tigers team. They have bought into the 'We Wuv Wobbie' spin to the point that they are equating him with Wests Tigers. In essence they are saying Robbie Farah is Wests Tigers, none of the other players matter. No Robbie, we walk, we don't care about the rest of the team. How petty is that? Isn't that part of why he is being moved on?
He's overshadowing the rest of an exciting young playing squad.
So, for all those well meaning Farah supporters you do not represent me at all! You are welcome to walk!
I support Wests Tigers.
Wests Tigers is more than just Robbie Farah.

Yet u can put up with a coach who's idea of coaching is to delete every single experianced player at the club. Sound like a solid plan???
Or could it be he doesn't like anyone with conflicting views???

So when the players approached him just after Origin with concerns about the game plan …you know, conflicting views...would someone that didnt like others with conflicting views agree to their request like he did, would someone that didnt like conflicting views be flexible and respect his players opinions and agree to their request?

You really are clutching.

No idea

Really ink, Man U have issues!
Yer and what did the great Taylor do after this approach??? Ummm
Oh yeah he planned his dismissal. Yes that right he hooked him after that conversation. Because he was undermining apparently to the younger players!!
A great link ink.
Who has no idea???
Just get back with your haters crew, u should have enough now to share a medium pizza!

Robbie Farah has left Australia for a break and this thread deteriorates. Maybe the thread needs a hiatus until at least he returns to Oz.

Next time your at the shops buy yourself a clue

Lay by it if you have to

Because you sure as hell don't have one from every post of yours I've ever read :brick:

Wow, this really has turned into a soap opera.

Usually the off season is pretty boring. But this year, we can sit back, relax, and watch Robbie take the team and club down with him.

Do you think that Robbie understands the concept of a pyrrhic victory?

Why is everyone so quick to dump on Farah and his manager, is it not plausible the Weststigers have been doing many things that we don't know about to kick Farah out.
And is it also not plausible after exhausting all other avenues the manager only has a few options left to clear his clients name, and this is what he is doing.

Happy r u 9 years old???
Great retort!
Man anyone would think I were from QLD!

This coming from the person who thinks that Taylor planned Farah's exit :roll

Taylor would of gone into this season with an open mind in regards to every player on the roster

And after a season he sees what the club needs to do from both a financial and performance side of the ledger

In this day and age no matter how wonderful a servant a bloke has been to a club you can't carry players who at best are performing to maybe half of their value in the salary cap

You'd think it has never happened before the way you are carrying on

We had more reason to be angry at what the club did to Brett Hodgson than what is happening to Farah to be honest

Wake up , clubs have to make tough decisions

The timing of this is interesting and the fact its 20's coach Kimmorley in his role at FOX hes taling to has got me thinking as well

The truth?

The question which must be asked and answered is whom has most to lose in all of this?

Farah - he'll get his $2.1m and a new spot elsewhere and will always be remembered as a WTs' great. Sure he may not be at the WTs but he will be okay,

Taylor - if he loses his NRL position no other club will have him as top dog.

End of story.

Blah, blah, blah.
What are u talking about, hodgson! What the?
I know about clubs need to change, but not every single experianced player gone!!!
It would be more realistic from an experianced coach, not someone on there L plates.
This coach will run us into the ground. U wait.
So happy who has hamstrung farah all year with his crap attacking plays, them after 19 rounds dumps him. Who happy, who???????? Maybe the tea lady?!?

Who's going to be here in 3 years time Lathami

Farah or Tedesco , Brooks and Moses ??

Yeah Hodgson , he was still at the top of his game and still played on for how many seasons ??

Farah is on the wrong side of the hill , it is unfortunate , but it is true

You can't play blokes twice what their worth under the salary cap , and that gap would increase into next season (2017) because the gulf between Robbie's best and his current form would increase

You certainly got your name right , you rave on like that imbecile Mark Latham with absolutely no substance

Funny how both Potter and Taylor both see the same thing with Farah with getting him to pass the reins over to Brooks ,Moses and Tedesco ??

When was the last time Robbie won us a game off his own back against top opposition because that's what $ 1 000 000 a season players should be doing

Calm down Lathami.

Most people can and have debated this without getting personal and being overly abrasive.

If you can't play the ball instead of the man I suggest you have a spell until you can.

Sometimes I wonder if some people comprehend English.
Ayoub never said he would open a 'shame file' - that was the reporters terminology.
He also never mentioned he wanted to blackmail the club.
All he said is he would present the facts as they happened and it would embarrass some people.
What's wrong with that?
Doesn't everybody want to know the truth?
Methinks some don't as it might shoot their beliefs and arguments down.
