If the Titans want to get rid of greg bird is would sign him over et. He is a tougher, harder version of et who can do the same role….provided Gold Coast are paying a chunk of our salary.

He is a real competitor and experienced in big games and pressure situations could be just the leader we need. I live a few doors up from the Brunswick heads hotel where he supposedly got into trouble...,it was a beat up with the pub lying to cover up one of their bouncers king hitting one of the bucks party crew. It has been covered over because gyngell (channel 9) owns half the pub.

What about the time he glassed his girlfriend? Was that a beat up too?

He's a thug. There's not many I wouldn't take here but he's definitely one of them.

Agree 100%.

Agree as well - would rather play with 16 than sign that dope (sorry Dope!).

Moa would have been good however….
from new.com
NEW Zealand international Sam Moa will be back in Super League in 2017 after signing a two-year contract with Catalans Dragons.
The 30-year-old prop, who made 78 appearances for Hull from 2009-12, is joining the Perpignan-based Dragons from 2013 NRL champions Sydney Roosters. “I am very excited and proud to join the Catalans team,” said Moa, who played in all three matches of the Kiwis’ Test series against England last year but missed selection in the squad to play Australia and in the Four Nations “I am very much looking forward to playing the best football I can for the team and contributing to creating a positive culture at the club. It is an exciting time ahead and I thank the club for giving me and my family the opportunity to be a part of it.” Moa, began his career at Cronulla in 2008 before joining Hull, where he spent four seasons, before returning to the NRL with the Roosters.

That's just so bloody wrong! Can't believe we didn't even try to get this guy - he would've been a perfect fit for our team, but God forbid we would actually chase a forward with impact and mongrel.

As for Bird, he may well have impact and mongrel, but there are some players you just don't want to have in your team's colours because….well....they're just plain Aholes and Bird tops the list.

You assume we didn't try because we didn't sign him. Doesn't mean we didn't.

No rumour of it at all, there is usually an article or something about which teams are in the mix to sign a player.

Not always. We've signed a lot of players who've popped up out of nowhere.

Tagatese remains usigned. Definitly should be targeting him big time.

Bird is going to the Raiders if he is punted. They will win the comp with Birdy's mongrel in the pack.

If ever a player needed a change of environment it's Sirro. Still has plenty of time to develop into a great player unfortunately can't see it happening if he stays at the WTs.

Sirro needs the wizard of oz. Can ask for a heart, courage and a brain.

Buzz Story re Curtis in the Telegraph.

SIRONEN SHOWN WESTS TIGERS DOOR

WESTS Tigers’ Curtis Sironen is on the lookout for a new club and is most likely to join Manly after falling out with coach Jason Taylor.

The 23-year-old backrower is extremely close to young Tigers halves Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks, who are not happy about the situation their mate finds himself in.

The three all attended the same school, Holy Cross College at Ryde.

One Wests Tigers insider told me: “If you thought Robbie Farah was treated badly, wait until Curtis tells his story.”

While Taylor did a solid job towards the end of the season to get Wests Tigers so close to the finals, his relationship with players is causing serious concern. His strongest supporter, chair Marina Go, no longer has any power on a board controlled by the five directors from majority shareholders Wests Ashfield. Interestingly, Go has left her job as an executive at Bauer Media.

Buzz should have continued his hiatus ..if that's the sort of stuff he's coming out with…

A`few things;
1\. It's exactly this kind of media garbage that needs to be ignored.
2\. The 'boys club' mentality, if it does still exist, needs to be STAMPED OUT FIRMLY once and for all!
3\. The Wests Tigers are in the business of winning football games and building a winning culture not pandering to the friendships of the players.
4\. If all the rumors are true, Farah was a destabilizing and divisive influence within the club who had to be removed.
5\. Whether the change of position caused it or not, Siro's form does not warrant a first grade position and if he wishes to be promoted in order to play with his buddies, he needs to show greater energy and commitment.
