As previously mentioned, Hodgson is a stop-gap solution. Much rather use the cap towards players who will help us in the long-term.

I don't think we've got a shot at Grant with the new team almost certainly getting one of Smith or Grant and Melbourne retaining the other.

Lomax on the other hand - absolutely yes. The injuries are an issue but they largely seem unrelated - hopefully he can overcome them and deliver on his potential.

With that said, come November 1, Manu has to be the main target. I would love him in the 4 but playing as a 2nd fullback/five-eighth when we're in attacking zones. Extremely class player and would work well with Doueihi's running game.

Be aggressive and make them both our targets and offer them as much as we can, both reportedly keen admirers of Madge and the Wests Tigers (bringing one could attract the other to come) - alongside Laurie, Doueihi, Stefano, Blore, Luciano and Twal with some good pieces like Ken, Joffa, Talau, Nofa and Mikale

Then get Brooks out, put that 700-800k towards a good halfback that comes available and all of a sudden we’re a threat for the next decade as they’re all young - think the biggest question mark circulating around our whole squad is who wears 7 bc Hastings hasn’t proven anything yet

Couldn't agree more. Lomax and Grant would be perfect for this team and our future. The fact that there's even the slightest chance is exciting. I guess now we just wait and see... and pray...

2 or 3 good players alone can not get us out of this hole, we need to have a Team of more than half capable players, right now we dont

We will be back at the same old days, where we had Teddy and a couple of good players but kept losing games

Fact is we need 17 for game day, at least 10 of them have to be legit First graders hungry to win, the rest will follow the lead

No one wants to keep playing for a losing team, we have a lot of work to do

Like the enthusiasm, but the club just can’t get Brooks out, without probably paying a fair chunk of his salary?

I’m always self reflecting. As for you fog horn, as opposed to someone like the Pom who comes in gives his info, answers a few questions and disappears without any fuss, you seem to come from the SG school of scoops where you want the admiration that comes with providing the scoops and making an enemies list of all of your doubters to give them a shout out if you are proven right, even though to this point, none of them have come to fruition. I apologise if i take a more skeptical view of inside scoops from someone with no track record. This is the internet after all. Only a fool would believe everything they read.

He was one of the guys gifted the host job for their footy show.
He came across very arrogant and try hard-ish, in my opinion.

Bellator is pretty great alot of the former ufc guys are there like vitor, yoel romero , Ryan bader and Benson Henderson with some up and coming guys who are machines in their own right like Patricio pit bull, Micheal venom page and AJ mckean definitely worth checking out
