You might not be old enough, But I remember countless interviews with Benji back in the day about how he knocked back more money to stay with the Tigers - And we're rubbish for the most part....
Munster, Latrell just did the exact same thing to us... Moses likely to do the same, Harry Grant did it....

One thing you might not know about the Roosters, Is how they help players away from the field to manage the money they're making...
Like I said, They have brains on the board and influential people - Who know a thing or 2 about the real world... - We've got clapped out old Magpies fans, Who don't know shit about much at all....

Get as Salty as you like - If it were us, You'd be doing cartwheels.....

This is how it is done. Have a listen to the Bye Round podcast with Jimmy Graham and Mark Bouris.
They get the players to have sit downs with highly successful business people who can help/advise on making the most of their money during and after footy. They may take 250k under but it will work out to be much more fruitful with successful investments.

We're just not structured for success, nobody in their right mind will fund our future success under these circumstances.
 
Dom Young's got promise, I don't know that he's consistent enough. There are probably at least 10 better wingers in the comp.

I sort of think the same about their recruitment of Brandon Smith. Verrills was a pretty good hooker, and Smith's huge intensity play usually results in stints on the sidelines and he's a bit up and down.

To be fair I haven't really paid attention to this kid....
However I get a bit of a Jason Saab vibe about him....run hard but only when it's open field....happy for it to be proven otherwise....

for an organisation like the roosters
and give us that old 'if you can't beat
them join them' spiel. Wouldn't it be
nice if all 17 clubs played on an even
level field & were properly audited
to prove that everyone was cap compliant?
Radical idea, I know. Would be nice though

Every comp needs Villains....The roosters are just the rich pompous frat Alpha Beta boys who need to be taken down a few pegs....
Tigers are the Lambda Lambda Lambda's of the comp.... loveable and plucky
The older people on the forum would know about the Tri-Lambs....

Theres an old saying "a fool and his money are soon parted" but being joined to the club by unconditional love and loyalty doesnt make us fools 😂👍
 
Moses got engaged last Tuesday, the rock looks very expensive. Seems an uncanny timing for the proposal and by the looks of the ring he knows he has extra money to spend coming from somewhere. I am feeling extra confident that he will be here.
