Anyway, he did not do it. Damnit though I expected at least this pound of flesh from him. Sure we knew he was a crap people manager from the start, we expected a good attack but not much from defense. I at least expected an expert goal kicker to pass on their skills like Harrigan and El-Masri did at the dogs, surely there would have been someone as many players kicked in reserve grade!

Bingo. Sharks and Canberra have signed smart. Lewis was cheap, Chris H was cheap too. They got a class forward pack for nothing by signing everyone who was rejected. This includes Carney, Barba, etc these guys were on very cheap contracts because no other club wanted them. Cleary and the WT board now appear to be moving in a different direction from throwing money at juniors to stay. They are going a little more like Sharks, Canberra and Penrith. They expect value for money but hopefully not a flight deck like Easts. Juniors you can still make good money here but no 600K bribes to stay as developing halves.
