so how the hell have the eagles been able to sign Trent, when there over the cap, also remember they had to upgrade suli as well, and its really funny that on NRL 360 they talked about this signing but never touched how they afford him. something stinks.
 
Let Kev go. We're covered and he's been a good servant. If he has a better opportunity overseas, let him go.

As for Rona lol. Fake news that just won't die.
 
Tigers will do the right thing by the player and release him. Has been a good influence on the club in general. Hardly the bloke that would have a dummy spit.
I was told the Rona signing is false but given it’s now all over social media who knows.
I am starting to think these people read the forums and drum up rumours on twitter etc.

Kev will not be released without another player being recruited. Cleary is a smart operator and Iam sure there is something going on behind the scenes.

As for the 30 contracted players by 30June, well Siro counts for one and I think we get to count Milne as another, so 28 is the magic number. If we are desperate you just upgrade a reserve graders contract for the rest of the year..no big deal

Yeah he will be the third centre gone in less than half a season! Not good for any team. Need a reliable depth signing soon, unless Tui or someone from ISP can step in? I really don't know.

By the way, does anybody know why Kev wants to leave? Especially now when we actually have a chance at making the 8? I thought he loved it here.

He’s off contract at the end of the year. Money talks he would be a star in the ESL

These whispers about KN are getting louder by the minute but if they're true I can't fault him for wanting the move but WT might have to say no until we sort out replacements. By my reckoning we've already lost three centres who we thought would be first grade candidates this year (Simona, Milne and Suli) and Kev would be the fourth. We simply have no depth in that position with no-one ready to step up from ISP although Robson was impressive on Saturday and could be a good player in a year or two. It would be reckless in the extreme to let Kev go until we have secured a couple of first grade centres.

But his stamina is spot on…....just keeps coming back.
 
Sad to hear that Kevin might be leaving. I’ve always admired his commitment. Been in good form this year. Hope he’s got a long term contract. Good luck Kevin. You’ll always be a Tiger.

Rona is not coming to the Tigers, neither is Holmes.
 
Reading between the lines it looks like we will announce a signing or two soon. Low key signings perhaps.

As for centre depth i hope they consider Lolohea, he can be dangerous from the position.

Yeah he would, but why not wait until the end of the year? He is doing well in a team that is actually going places this season. Why not finish with the team and see how far they can go, then have a good send off at the end of the year. I don't understand why it has to be right now!

I agree with you on that. I just can’t see him being fit enough to make the fullback position his own. Yet if he’s healthy you’d want him in your team.
