i hope Madge, Pascoe, Leo and co are smart enough to know that If we want Mitchell, it's not just the cash we need to have, but the added incentives which go "around" the cap which matter. Heard the saying' Nice guys finish last'? Well clubs that don't find ways around the cap find it near impossible to compete these days.

Farcical, the NRL said all along these things "take time"...

Well, not when Souths need Arrow and LM to replace Burgess and Inglis. Then they take weeks.

Both Burgess and GI literally given the exact same jobs we are still paying a 500 000 cap fine for Robbie also...

Just a thought about the burgess thing . Apparently there are 2 ways to be medically retired .
1. By the insurance company- this salary cap relief and fully paid out by the insurance company .
2. The NRL medical examiner . Also salary cap relief , but the team is liable for the full amount .
1 would take ages , as you know , insurance companies suck at paying out , and 2 would be be pretty quick if you’re willing take a bullet ... like paying out a player 380k for 10 years to do sweet FA .
I’m just saying , maybe they’re not that corrupt with this one .
