The guy should be rubbed out of the game for good. He's putting the whole season in jeopardy and guys like him need to be taught a tough lesson in order to send the message out to anyone else who thinks they are bigger than the game.

What culture change would Proctor help with? The Titans have come 15th, 14th, 16th and are 13th this year. The Titans of all teams want to move him on and there's a good reason why.

Tend to agree.
Not much better than Lawrence in my eyes and at least with Lawrence he bleeds for the club - KP would be another mercenary looking for a final payout.... move on I say.

McIntyre does not really dent a set defensive line but his defence is good and the couple of times he has found himself in space he has made very good decisions. A very nice draw and pass for a try assist, a dummy and try close to the line and some good runs up the middle then looking for support. Definitely shows some promise.

When will people realise it doesn’t matter who we want to or don’t want to sign, high quality players do not will not come to tigers and if they do their looking for the exit real quick.Im afraid we are destined to sign up and comers with dare I say it potential or your Packer Renyolds of the world

We're not far away if we can sign two established players for next year plus a few on the periphery of the NRL. The younger players we have will be a year older with more experience.

He offers noting except jokes about sideshow Bob, cocaine, biting and proctology.

If justice is served then Proctor will be found not guilty and refs will in future keep an eye on Johnson’s antics. For crying out loud?! Biting is up there in seriousness along side racial abuse . There is no place for either. To stick your arm in an opponent ‘s mouth and hold it there stopping him from breathing, then accuse him of biting by rubbing against his bottom teeth, just to get a penalty? And to a fellow countryman? Then walking away from the accusation because the so called biter was sent off? Such a good player, he doesn’t need that in his game.

We need second rowers and not many are on the market at the moment.

Do we need second rowers ? I think we need spine players and outside backs first and then props and then second rowers.

Lawrence needs to retire, Luciano is a gun, then we’ve got Garner and Blore who are two decent options, both have been in and out of the team though. MCK too but he’s been bog average.

He also has good feet close to the line, he just doesn't have the kgs to mix it consistently at prop/middle forward.
I think he is a good bench forward and would like to see him try and add some weight over the next few years. His skill set reminds me of a young Trent 'twinkle toes' Merrin, hope he keeps improving.

Played almost 200 games at Melbourne in their very strict system (one it seems we are trying to copy) won a grand final and would’ve made finals more than anyone else in our team plus played for NZ as recently as last year and captain his team for many years

He’s no standout and I wouldn’t be paying more than $300k-$350k a season but the bloke knows what it’s like to be a winner and is a consistent performer. He could really help groom someone like Blore next season and then in 2022 Blore takes over and Proctor can be depth.

End of the day if we don’t get him that’s cool too, putting faith into Blore and Garner is absolutely fine in my books.

I agree with this....if it was that bad to make a song and dance about it then hit the ball up the whole way...instead he perfected the gamesmanship by not only getting cleanskin Proctor sent off, and he is a cleanskin, but tarnished his reputation by being labelled a biter....
I've said it before...Johnson is on the punchable head list

I don't mind if we sign him for 250k, and to be fair didn't see the incident live. It just feels like an unwelcome distraction and I doubt he sees himself as a budget buy.

Proctor would be good for us on a short term deal provided the money was right. Very experienced hard head who could teach our young guys a lot about performing more consistently.

He's 32 in February would still have 3 good years in him to teach our young guys

It is those sort of signings which have the greatest possibility of being a disaster.
1 He will NOT improve at that age and likely get less effective
2 His body is aging and far more likely to get nagging injuries he wont get over very quickly.
3 If things dont work out it would be nearly impossible to offload him elsewhere at his age.

I dont see any positives in signing him.He is the sort of signing we have made far to often in the past and we usually regret it almost immediately

yep hard to argue with any of those points. Lot's of negatives, no real positives and would take up a valuable spot in the top 30. It's a no from me.
