Seems to have worked for BJ,his game improved last week again...What people are failing to see is that Madge is trying to work out who is best in what positions while bringing the young guys into NRL...dropping some of the players may not be a punishment but a chance to showcase other players.Maddens debut is brilliant on a weekend that is special for rugby league....
Once again I will say that many on here praised Madge and Hartigan for their recruiting and getting talented youth to our club in the preseason,we hit some hurdles early on this season but Madge is trying to work out who/ whats best for team and club...gee I hope they win this weekend....

Need to keep both Liddle and Simpkin in the team. Teams target Liddle when he gets tired. They can get quick PTBs when they run at him. Simpkin looked very good in his short spell. He deserves an extended run in first grade.

Simpkin came on and added a whole new energy.
He was great. He should be kept on the bench and used for the next 3 games...

Liddle can't handle 80 and Mbye doesn't offer us anything and is gone next year. We probably need him at 1 for the remainder of the year also.

I think Madge needs to somehow have 2 interchanges at the same time to help with the quickness of Simpkin

I would probably say A change 5 minutes before - possibly Tuilagi, then 5-10 after Simpkin.

Have Simpkin doing them quick meters with Tuilagi smashing on the side of him would be lethal..

Liddle is gassed by the 30min mark and off his feet by 50 and becomes a liability. I’d have Simpkin come in at the 30 and play the last 10 before half time and following 20. Then Liddle back on for the final 20.

As Simpkins stamina picks up he could potentially shift to lock for some extra minutes.

Agree, he really injected energy and ran some useful metres. Canberra have pretty much the same strategy of bringing in a darting hooker Wren the forwards are tired.
