Rooster man the problem with your club is that you buy premierships and poach all the top Juniors other clubs develop.

The Roosters have basically no Junior Nursery but have many wealthy backers , and by knowing the way Politis does business in terms of player contracts the Tigers cannot match the Roosters in the money department for Tedesco signature.

Grant Mayer knows this and it's why his dirty.

To me it sounds like minichiello has got in tedesco's ear during the World Cup.
Minichiello also a western suburbs junior who has made it good in the east.

I really like the line of the roosters wanting the new "toy" on the market. Such a great analogy!

i have and i agree with you…but if this signing is true then im just trying to see where he would play... i cant see us playing RTS in the centres as Robbo already has him attacking at FB and is obviously grooming him for next year...So i assume if we sign Teddy he will play centre...the signing doesnt make sense so im trying to make sense of it tbh lol

After reading Roy masters story on third party agreements we should start a bloody fan fund to keep teddy. I'll throw in the first $1,000.

We need 600 of you to keep 2 players… We can't get people to fork out $50 to become members let alone $1000....

Every dollar counts, if we can get 300 people to raise 500$ it would be fantastic, 150,000$ is alot of money. I know it is harder than it sounds but its worth a shot.

The club should be looking at using fundraisers to get money, it sounds stupid but as I said earlier every dollar counts.

Not in same class.

Actually if Tedesco left I would play Nofo and Fullback, Koro on the wing and James in NSW cup. Nofo could be a very good fullback.

Id be very disappointed if after supporting him through his injury and helping him become the player he is he turned around and signed with a club like the Roosters.

At the very least he should give us last chance of reply, surely thats the decent thing to do. Anything less than that and he probably would fit right in at the Roosters.

U r insinuating that roosters players are not decent people! Very irresponsible posting! I have a very good friend playing for the roosters nrl side and they are great people

I was just going to touch on this, nothing personal Roosterman but makes me sick to the stomach that a club like this like the dogs just by themselves to success.
Like Mayer says might as well by the players on the market , instead of wasting our resources on our juniors. Very sad

Mate thats rubbish, the world cup was seveal months ago, why did it take until Tedesco got two Man of the Match performaces for the Rumours to start.

Nofo would be a Perret clone at fullback, these days your fullback has to have playmaking skills and Nofo doesn't have that.

This comment may have been valid back in the day but i hate to be the messenger here but if you think the tigers or ANY club for that matter arnt out to buy other players to win a premiership then your delusional…this is 2014 and NRL is a BUSINESS and every bloody club is searching the markets for talent to bring to there club....So i don't agree with your first point.

your second point about us having "no juniors" is also ill founded as i doubt you even know the story as to why we have limited young clubs... Back in the 50s Roosters owned around 50% more Junior territory and was extremely healthy when it came to producing young talent.. But also at that time south sydney were struggling to do the same and called the NRL for help which resulted in us giving souths 50% of our territory for a few years in order to help them regain some foundation... but alas when we came back to souths years later to take the territory back they refused....that is why if you look at the junior areas you can see Souths spread right into the east and we are left with a small portion.

If he signs for the Roosters play him in NSW cup for the year. This season is about developing the Tigers into a team that is going to be very good in a couple of years. If he is not going to be around put him in the NSW cup.

Nofo is a good fullback and it even could be his best position. If James goes we should put Nofo at fullback and Koro on the wing.

What makes you think that? According to Tedesco he hasnt spoke to other clubs which is hard to believe but what makes you so certain he started talking to them 2 weeks ago?

Hope this isnt true because Teddy and Brooks have already formed a lethal combo after four games together. but if he is to go then i think we should go hard after RTS. He is a very good player with lots of footwork. Hope we sign Teddy soon though because this is doing my head in just thinking he might go
