Time for a change at the top :Anasta

Another rubbish thread, that rehashes a story we already know, and yet we really don't know what the two people involved are really thinking. or what they doing about it. Quite frankly Braith;s contribution to this club has been zilch and his comments and opinions hold about that much weight. Just sitting on the sideline in waiting to join the boys club in the media.

Yes & no .,,, I honestly think Braith has the best interests in the club IMO .

Not speaking to each other??? Bloody hell, what a pair of babies! The joint is being run by school boys!

Well the story is that mayer went to farah with an offer to have a coffee and talk things out. Farah,as the leader he is, didnt want to know about it.

farah needs to suck it up - put aside self interest and do what best for the team, as a good captain should.
But no ….his ego wont let him do that.

Very sad if true.

e.g So if Mayer wants Farrah to go to a Hospital and visit a sick kid , does he have to ring Sam Ayoub to pass the message to Farrah and then Ayoub replies to Mayer .

No wonder we are a Circus at the moment and the media is taking full advantage of us .

Yep, and I tend to believe it. There's way too many stories from various sources about farah being a petulant child for me to ignore.

Braith really should of left this be, who is he to air this? Just stoking the fire.

He's someone on the inside who isnt trying to keep his job for next year. You've no interest in whats going on?

I'm not saying this because of recent dramas, but Robbie is taking a big slice of the cap, and I would be happy for him to move on, he'll be welcomed back when his playing days are over, but we seem to be looking after one when we could be on the look out for others. If we released him you'd free up money to sign up guys like Segeyaro, Crocker and Kasiano for the same coin. Whilst he is a club legend, the longer he stays, the longer it'll take to win our next premiership. Just 1 example of 101 problems that need to be fixed by the guys up top. Look at Gus at Penrith, yes he released some very sought after players, with the money they were on you couldn't attract other players that can get you a premiership. Now that they have room to move, there moving.

I'll say it the way I see it.

Robbie is arrogant, controlling, demanding and a real deadbeat when it comes to interacting with fans when the club organises events. It's not just the way he is like many say to offer excuses on his behalf, I know people who know him personally and I'll leave it at that.

Grant Mayer has come into our club and must have the gift of the gab. His style has made him believe he's better than what he is, so he hits the GLITTER TWITTER, only problem is he overlooked the fact that this club was dis functional, his real job was to get this fixed and moving again. GM backed himself all the way, but really he backed himself into a corner.

Braith really has nothing to win or lose by having a say, but why speak out.
He now knows the real Robbie and without saying anything damning, he's implied you two can't work together because you both think your bigger than the club and that's why things are the way they are. Robbie can't say anything in return because more beans might be spilt.
Along with all this Mayer is also responsible of updating Braith and providing him with his promised 3rd party payments as in his contract, regardless of wether Mayer was or wasn't at the club at the time Braith signed, it's all in black and white and Mayer still can't deliver on what that little paper has on it.

Braith would love to see them both gone, this time he's giving them some 3rd party back.

Running a Club For Dummies by Grant Mayer

Running a club isn't for the faint of heart but if you really want a sure fire way to have your season derailed then I suggest a coaching review mid season….You can't go wrong.
A couple of other things you can do is start a video editing course another trick is to really hate a player manger and make sure all his players get screwed over.
The wooden spoon will soon be yours....good luck

Rumour has it, apparently, I know someone. a friend of a friend…...... and so it goes on. If you really support the club as I believe you do why do you keep giving air to all this heresay?. It is a bad representation of us as fans on a WestsTigers Forum and makes us the ones responsible for spreading unproven rumours. Worse than schoolyard gossip - god I hope the young blokes deciding if they want to pursue a future with this club don't read this stuff. If the fans have nothing good to say about the club why on earth would you want to bust your butt for them - only to have them turn on you when things weren't going well. Maybe the forum should be renamed STICK IT TO THE WESTS TIGERS at least then there would be no confusion about its focus Yeah things aren't great but lets at least try and stick to the facts . So rumours suggest Robbie Farah is a petulant child - Beau Ryan has said he is a great bloke .........

I think we need to hear from someone like Anasta. He has played at two clubs that are run as successful businesses. I don't remember Price, et al having as much to say in the running of the football club than Farah.

It is evident Farah has too much say in this club and all the players, especially the younger players, follow him due to his status as captain, nsw rep, premiership. This is a toxic culture with no player daring to question him. Time for Robbie to go.

"You would like to think it is not Robbie (that goes)," Anasta said. "He is the captain of the club and has been there for so long, he is really important to how the team plays and how we perform week in and week out.

This is what worries me. The sooner the team learns to still play well without any one person, the better off it will be.

Just like the bad old days of when Benji was having a sook and it spread through the whole team - looks like it is still happening based on recent results…

There was a time when people wouldn't have been able to fathom life after Benji either, but there was. There'll be life after Robbie as well should the day come when he walks out.
