Farewell to Mbye and Chee-kam. Might as well get the injured Packer having a run as well.

Packer and Joey combined would have cost Wests Tigers the cost of a limousine. The club should also follow Bulldogs new "no duds" policy.

Yes, if Pauga comes from nowhere to jump them, and even MCK gets a sniff ahead of them that says a lot. We do have a young team, but still this is a dead rubber, why not give Hoffman a chance against the only team currently weaker than us.

I guess Madge could pick anyone he wants "to give them a go". IMO you pick your best team EVERY game and try to win EVERY game. What have we seen of Hoffman that suggests he can defend at centre in first grade.

What about all of those bemoaning Hoffman being cut "after one poor game". You would throw kid who is not ready, into a standard too high for him, in a very difficult position he is not used to. Recipe for a poor performance that would do nothing except hurt his confidence, particularly after previous problems. Maybe on the wing.

More likely he's protecting his slippery grip on his job.
If he picks the same dross and they perform to their usual level he's really got nothing to lose.
However if he picks Cini at fullback., a position that he excelled at in KOE and Cini happens to put in a stellar performance then the narrative is "Why the hell did he keep picking Mbye?"
Can't take the chance of exposing his inadequacies.

Initial report was a high grade AC joint which must've been wrong otherwise he wouldn't be playing.... hopefully he gets through the game okay.
