Nah mate. These people legitimately exist. It is baffling. I can't think of a player that epitomises the Tigers' mediocrity more than him. He's not the worst player we've had, but for such an important position, he is as flaccid as they come. I've hated watching him play.

This is absolutely a trial. Should be treated as such. The ladder won't change. There is literally nothing to play for. (Not even pride!)

At least some young guys would have had something to prove, something to play for! How bloody disheartening for them. Even with nothing to play for they can't get a run.

It’s not the worst idea. Madge is probably happy defensively how we have played. So he wants some stability to our defence. Players around him have built up communication and defense awareness with MCK there, so why change suddenly. Sorta changes the dynamic needlessly imo.

I would think most clubs try to give out going players the opportunity to play their last game at the club with their teammates as a mark of respect and gratitude for service - whether fans rate them or not. The young guys at the club have been given opportunity throughout the year and will get plenty more if they are good enough.

And I think that point of view is more than warranted given the performances this lot have dished out. I myself am trying to go against it as I’ve been a bit jaded with this side and I can feel myself shifting over to the dark side. Fingers crossed they can finish this crap season with a W

My favourite halves over the years were Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley.

Johns played with O’Davis QLD McDougall NSW Gidleys NSW Tahu NSW Uate, M Johns, Kennedy, Haragon, Peden, Buderus etc etc

Daley had Belcher Nagas Nadruku Mullins Clyde Meninga Lazurus Walters Stuart etc

I was taking a break from this forum and this club and saw this as an opportunity to make a final point. I hope Brooks goes to a place where he is surrounded by a few decent footy players and it might make me giving up on this mob after 35 years a little easier.
