Talau is a centre not a winger but hope he kills it. He should probably.replace Mmbye in centre
Jennings had a shocker on saturday but his other two games back have been good i think we might be saying on monday bring back jennings
I think Douhie at fullback defensively is the big risk he is out of position all the time

Mate with this statement you just lost all credibility.

"Jennings had a shocker on saturday but his other two games back have been good i think we might be saying on monday bring back jennings"

There is no reason in the world I would want him back, even if he paid us, which he should .... He should be paying us "IMPOSTOR" money.

I’m convinced he’s trolling with Jennings. No one could be that blind

Lawrence is smart defender and great at disrupting halves, if he does end up starting he will be there to put pressure on Williams. There was a game two years ago against the Storm in NZ, where Lawrence did a real number on Brodie Croft and was a big factor in winning us that game after starting as big underdogs.

No real issues with the other changes, although Harry Grant will be very busy without a break, hopefully with a bigger pack/bench this week he won't be called on to make as many tackles.

Lawrence is a huge surprise to me but you've made a great point about him pressuring halves, no-one else in the squad does that.

There was a lot of talk last week that Taylor seemed to have all day to kick and that was because we werent hassling him or something. Go back and look at the game, Taylor is miles behind the line, like 10m back at times. You need a motor bike to get him.

Lucky Rowdy has a motorbike.

Jennings had a shocker yes but who is to say a centre playing on the wing in Talau will be defensively any better ?
i feel like we are moving the deck chairs on the titanic
i think corey may have been a safer option but dont really rate him either

Changes were needed. If nothing else it sends a mage with Benji being dropped.

I think it’s a Madge and Benji tactic. At least madges and Benji is playing his part.

I'm glad to see Musgrove in the team.

same he offers a lot in attack

Its no coincidence that when we bring on Seyfarth and Clark that opposition sides turn the game ...they do a job but aren't effective

Mikaele on the bench will help that as well. He can replace Aloiai and we can keep some intensity out there still.

I’m happy with the changes in the roster. Pleased Benji got dropped. I think the Titans game fell apart in the first 10 minutes for the Tigers. At the 5min mark when Brooks had 2 options and decided to pass to Grant who scored, it appeared to upset Benji who was calling for the ball. Brooks made the right call imo. It’s often stated that a team plays well under good leadership, but not enough emphasis is placed on the value of every players’ leadership skills. Hopefully Madge can expose and nurture leadership qualities in every player.
Don’t be too surprised if the Tigers win this one against the Raiders.

Media already trying to create drama about Madge dropping Benji. Some rubbish about how Benji always defends maguires coaching style and if he’s upset by being dropped he won’t do it anymore.

Tigers can’t do anything without criticism in the media can they?

Well Benji works for FOX so of course the media are going to be critical for him being dropped although it was warranted. There were 5 dropped and no one is talking about Jennings, Garner, Walters, Clark......
I am sure that Benji is mature enough to not be critical of Madge and this is another beat up story???
Benji will be back after a rest and if the other halves don't perform, as there is no i in team and he knows it being a stalwart.
Some others in the team should be worried this week as well, Mybe is one.

Firstly the other’s are not Benji they have not achieved anything like he has, secondly you thing he needs a rest after 2 games in the last 12 weeks?

The rest of our players must have been on Unicycles
Here is Jennings trying to stop a try

Mate how many excuses over how many years for brooks,it’s Benji it’s Robbie it’s the ball boy it seems it’s everyone except brooks for his lack of leadership and game management geez it might even be my fault for supporting the tigers

Big changes but will the team respond.
The bench is much better and a good change, Reynolds brings energy but leaves a lot up to Brooks - hopefully he steps up, Jennings had to go but I’m not sold on Talau on the wing but worth a go.

Josh does leave a lot up to Brooks and so he should,Brooks has always been known as the playmaker and its his team...

One average game and everyone forgets who was our back to back player of the year and dally M half of the year. Look how much we struggled round 1 and 2 without him, noticeable difference having him back.

He was good against sharks. Average against titans but we got dominated up the middle for a lot of that game as well. He should’ve done better but to heap all the blame on him is ridiculous

Absolutely! Not one poster here complained about Brooks’ return.

Here's a thought: You buy BJ - a barnstorming free scoring Centre. You plonk him outside of Benji and in 4 games he has never received a pass from the 5/8. Sure Nofo has scored a few tries but mostly from poor defence out wide rather than scintillating backline play. Even BJ's only try thus far came from the NRL Gods who were choking back laughter as they watched us fumble yet another last tackle play option. They felt so sorry for us that they made it into the Try of The Century! However, on countback, it has been relegated to a Team Participation Award due to the standard of the Opposition. My point - Benji is not gonna be missed on the right hand edge - certainly not by BJ.

Could be a fantastic move for Joey that’s for sure. Hopefully Reynolds lets him run, remember how good he was in the trial when they just gave him some footy?
