Well, I have had a bit of a look around my backyard and I can see nothing remotely as disgusting as this guy's behaviour has been. "A bit of a larrikin" … You must be kidding. If doing what he did is being a larrikin then I'll give up. I wouldn't touch Carney with a barge pole.

You know what. If he was 18 years old, and he did this, and it was his first bit of trouble, then yes you would certainly entertain the thought. But he is not. He is talented, I don't know too many people who can piss in their own mouth. Maybe I hang in different circles to you. But he is not the best 5/8 in the competition. You're kidding yourself if you think he is. Target pissing however, maybe he is the best in the comp.

As for name calling, if pissing in your own gob in a public toilet isn't a grub act, then I'll be buggered if I would know how else to obtain the name 'grub'.

This is such a ridiculus thread and an utter waste of cyber space. Like I said yesterday signing with another club is the last thing needed, for him and the poor club which signs him. He needs a two year sabbatical.

I agree. His influence would surely disrupt our entire team. Id much rather sign someone who is willing to put in the hard yards and commit to the team culture on and off the pitch.

Carney would just take the piss (pun intended) and we'd end up being the fourth club that sacked him.

I wonder if any other NLR clubs will pick him up. The Sharks are a desperate club and usually make rash signing from other clubs as they don't have much of a nursery.
Canberra do have a nursery but are also desperate, however he has already been sack from there. Can't think of any other clubs that would take him. Maybe the Warriors . They have a basket case of a board, but already have good halves. The Titians have a history of signing bad boys. Imagine all the trouble Carney could get into on the Gold Coast. Some of the pro surfers say it turns into Gotham City at night, they try and avoid it and stay down at Snapper Rocks. I don't think Carney could resist the bright lights any more than a moth can.

If the Titans sign him they would have the perfect double act for the toilets. No names, just think back to someone who defecated in the hotel hallway.

I feel a bit sorry for him, I know it was a pretty disgusting thing to do but he wasn't hurting anyone and it's plain to see he has not grown up. But I don't think the sharks should of sacked him I think a two game ban and a $$ fine should be enough + the embarrassing photo online for all to see….forever!
